As the name implies 50:50 it simply involves equal division of one's earning. This is a new project in the steemit blockchain introduced by the steemit team one month ago with the objective of its members powering up 50% of their earnings in order to build their individual accounts on steemit.
It works in a way that it's members are expected to power up the corresponding value of the liquid steem they are withdrawing from their account,that is if a user withdraws 50 steem,such user is also expected to power up 50 steem within the period of 30 days and it's not a one off power up but a continuous thing.
When I got to know about #club5050.
I learnt about #club5050 last month through a post made by one of my friend in steemwomensclub when she was celebrating her birthday and she powered up 2k so,the power up she made propelled steemcurator01 to drop a comment on her post and that comment birthed club5050.
This comment alone gave birth to the #club5050 we are celebrating and enjoying today.
What are the benefits?

My answer to this is that being a part of it is optional,there is no law to enforce it but you will loose so many benefits when you don't belong to club5050.

It is very important that we take note of when to use the tag #club5050 to avoid abusing it which won't be good. This tag should strictly be used by users who are adhering to the rules of the club, so long as you are active in the club then you can use the tag.
How long will I be in the club5050?
Joining club5050 and remaining a part of it is a whole different thing and it's all depends on our individual decisions ,but for me as long as am in steemit blockchain I will remain in club5050, it's a game of powering up there's no going back on it💕💕💕 so I will encourage everyone to also join me and rain in the club.

First, I've been getting quality upvote from steemcurators on some of my post despite the community I made the post. Secondly, it's been helping me to grow my steem power rapidly. Also, it's helping me in increasing my reputation in the platform and trust me I love it.
How much rewards I've powered up since #club5050 started.
Like I said from onset,belonging to this club has to do with my withdrawal and power up between the period of 30 days interval. Calculating my account history through steemworld.org, it can be seen that I've transferred 463 steem out ofy wallet and I've also powered up 1156 steem which is more than my withdrawal which means that am actively participating in club5050.

Conclusion
