SEC - S15W3 : The Present Struggle and the Future Glory.

It feels good to be part of this week's contest in this noble Community. This topic is fascinating, I was totally drawn to it the moment I saw it and of course I have one or two things to pen down as touching the subject matter.

I would love to present my entry using the contest hint. I really do hope you enjoy every bit of it. So guys, let's get into it right away. Shall we? I believe yes! Smiles.

How do you understand the meaning of "Life is an endless struggle" in everyday life?

Well the way I see this statement is the way it stated, I would only like to expound on it. "Life as an endless struggle" is a way of saying we would keep encountering challenges as we journey through life.

Well the saying is true in that as human we would sure come across different phases in our lives that would be so challenging that it would only take God to help us scale through.

But I also want to state that a time should come in a man's life where he ceases from some unnecessary struggles which should have been addressed at certain phase of his life, if at the moment he is suppose to the resting, he is still struggling with some serious challenges he should have settled long before now, then you can be sure that such person might struggle till his last breath.

Tell us about one personal challenge you are facing and your approach to it.

My Present challenge now is Time. I know you're curious, well am going to take my time to explain myself. The fact is my time have been bought, yeah! The moment you decide to work for someone to get paid by the same person within a particular timeframe i.e 8am - 8pm, then you can be sure your time has been bought.

You do not have full control of your activity because you have decided to work for someone who have also decided to pay you as long as you keep to the agreement which includes the duration of time to be used. This is my present situation, as I find it difficult to hang out with friends except on weekends, I mean Sunday to be precise.

You can't go out at will, you need to take permission before you can do that and then I also have to make do with the little am paid as salary, am not sure I would have survived workin under my boss if what he pays me was all I have to live on for the monthly.

Well it a phase in my life, I came to him to learn livestock and crop farming, we have not been able to explore the aspect of crop but we have gone far with that of the livestock.

Am grateful for all he has done so far and all I have learnt staying around but you know, it's with a price packaged in endurance. After am done learning, I should have my freedom and also push for that kind of life I've always envisaged.

How do you overcome these challenges? Explain the concrete steps you have taken.

Well, I'ld say, I've been coping by God's grace. Firstly, I've conditioned my mind to endure this phase, no matter what it brings. What am going through right now is just like delaying gratification. Learning comes with it curves and we do not have to give up while learning what will give us financial freedom on the long run.

As for the financial aspect, steemit has been a very big cover up for me. I steem with my spare time so that I can have something added to the little I get at work. It wouldn't have been easy if steemit wasn't there to help me financially. I would have been in a big mess by now. So that's it

Is there support from those closest to you in your struggle?

Yea yeah! Am fortunate to be surrounded with people that have been very supportive and understanding and these include my family and friends. Sometimes they wonder how I cope and fare checking on me every now and then.

My parent sometimes still shower me with stuffs once in a while when I go check on them, they also give me cash even when am not in dire need of them but you know a need will always arise for that money to take care of.

My friends on the other hand have been very supportive emotionally, they seem to understand my present phase and would always motivate me because they believe we all are laying the foundation for a solid future. So I would say, I am getting more than enough support from my closest pals.

How do you maintain enthusiasm and motivation? Are there any special principles or values that help you stay focused on life's journey?

Beyond the motivation I get from friends and family, I have also created in me a never-give-up mindset which keeps me going. When we give up, that's actually the end for us. So I draw strength from within and cheer myself up, telling myself that all will definitely be well.

I focus on what lies ahead and not what is in the past nor my present. There is a kind of future I envisage and with God on my side, am gonna give all it takes to achieve it.
I know beyond doubt that's I've got a glorious future ahead. Knowing fully well that God is in involved in all my dealing is enough consolation and reason to keep moving.

Conclusion

The struggle continues for an average human being but I know there are some who seems to be excluded in this circle. Am not there yet but I sure know I would be there someday...I mean the day when I would cease from unnecessary struggle and labour, a period where rest tastes like heaven.
