Cultivation of pepper following simple method and proper rules.

How are you all? Hope everyone is well.Alhamdulillah I am fine as well.Today I am going to discuss about chilli cultivation in a very simple way. Hope you can gain ideas of pepper cultivation from my discussion. My discussion can be very useful for new agricultural entrepreneurs.

Suitable time for planting seeds and seedlings:-

September-October is the best time to plant pepper i.e. a little before the rainy season. These chillies are usually planted as rabi crops. After 1 month to 1.5 months after planting the pepper seeds in the seed bed, the seedlings grow and become suitable for planting in the crop field. Basically September-October is the best time in Bangladesh. This month Kharif-2 gives good yield of pepper in Bangladesh.

Appropriate fertilizer management for planting pepper:-

Fertilizer management for 1 acre or 4,046 square meter area is shown.By proper fertilizer management we can increase the productivity of the land. If the fertilizer is applied correctly, it is possible to get the right amount of crops, so we have to pay attention to the application of fertilizers.These fertilizers should be applied to the land in three parts.Fertilizer management should be completed within 45 days after planting.

• Nitrogen- 120 kg
• MOP-(Muriate of Potassium): 80 kg
• DAP-(Di-ammonium Phosphate): 50 kg
• TSP ( Triple Superphosphate): 40 kg
• Karbofuran : 6 kg ( Once at planting time.)

Application of pesticides following proper timing and method:-

After 20 days of planting seedlings should be sprayed for pepper beetles and spiders. This spray should be done at a regular rate so that the leaves of the plant do not curl in any way. I have to be very careful with pepper plants from the beginning. Spray every 5-6 days with a spider repellent and insecticide. First 1 month (Abamectin) and (Imidacloprid) group insecticides respectively 1 ml. and 0.5 ml. Every liter should be sprayed. If for some reason the young leaves on the plant are curled, then (copper oxychloride) group of insecticides should be sprayed at 4 grams per liter. When the plant is 1.5 months old, BPH or (Brown Plate Hopper) should be sprayed twice.

There are exceptional rules that must be followed in pepper cultivation:-

Do not spray when the plant is in flower. If it is very important to spray, it must be sprayed with the face of the tube upwards. There will be no damage to the crops. It is better to irrigate once in 20 days. But water supply should be stopped if the disease is seen. Cultivation of pepper by following these rules will give the best harvest. I hope many people can easily understand my important tips. These rules will help the farmer brothers in pepper cultivation.
