Wedding is a beautiful thing, it's that memorable moment in which man and woman are united in marriage,it can be in church or traditionally.

I will want to share about a friend's wedding who happens to be my closest friend.

When she found love, apparently I was the first person she disclosed it to, I was happy for her . Then the preparation started. We made a lot of list that will carry at most 50000 personalities because the husband to be is a public figure, after the lost was done the husband to-be transferred all the money to her.

On the set day , we got set to shop for the wedding an unforgettable thing happened. We were robbed of the money, huge money at that. My friend wanted to commit suicide thinking there were forces against her wedding plans.

We came back thankGod our lives was spared,u friend started staying alone , pointing fingers on some negative thoughts, I consoled her as a friend and the family decided to raise half of the money stolen still it wouldn't be enough to host the type of wedding we are expecting.

As God may have it, the husband to be sends another money he even asked if it would be okay for the planing of the event. We now went again and bought all the items .

The first was the husband people coming to pay the bride price to the community and the kinsmen, after that the wedding preparation took place.

They started going for church counselling where they will be guided on how to leave together as husband and wife.

Here are some of important things the church asked them to do.

• Abstain from any sexual intercourse during this period.
• Check their health status.
• Choose the music and the dress.

On the wedding day, everyone got dressed up, the music was there in the compound to receive the guest. The banner carrying the couple pictures was everywhere to direct people to the venue.

Everywhere was set the reception and the food were placed at the right place. After the blessing at the church everyone matched down to the reception where food was served and gift was exchanged.

That was how the wedding ended and my friend happily married her best friend.

Wedding preparation is demanding and stressful, but when it's properly planned the outcome is always fantastic.
