What specific steps have you taken to reduce electricity consumption in your business during the summer?

During this summer period, it is usually a cold period, and for that reason, most people don't patronize very cold things because they need something warm so that they can be very warm.

Since that is the case for this period, using some of my gadgets such as my refrigerator and others is no longer valid. So this can help me so much to reduce the consumption of electricity in my home.

In essence, in other to cut down your electricity tariffs you should always ensure to turn off anything that you are not using at the moment. This will help you to minimize costs.

Have you invested in any technology or tools to monitor and manage your electricity usage?

Yes, I have invested in a tool which is the meter called prepaid. This meter is a rechargeable one in which you will use electricity based on the amount you recharge and the way you use it. So if you want the electricity to last for a longer period you must try to utilize it with caution.

Since you are recharging this meter, you will always have it at the back of your mind that you need to use and consume based on what you have invested. You won't want it to finish immediately knowing that you always use money to recharge it.

What advice would you give to other business owners struggling with high electricity bills in the summer?

The simple advice I will give to any business person or owner is to always switch off any device they are not using at any point and time. Once you switch it off you have saved the energy that they are supposed to consume in your absence or when not it is not in use.

So you need not to purchase anything during that period again. All you need to do is to make use of the energy you have paid for and the way you use it will determine if it will stay long or not.

I tell any business owner takes this advice then he or she will be able to cut down the expenses he or she normally suppose to incur whenever they are not using a gadget.
