What inspired you to consider this business idea for the summer season?

Selling of foodstuffs is the business I want to go into during this summer period. In Nigeria currently everyone is very hungry and for that reason the business that will draw much attention or crowed now is selling foodstuffs.

People have money but because of lack of foodstuffs people still die because they can't eat the money they have. I Rembert recently because of the crises in my area all the shops selling goods were locked and people starve to death because they couldn't buy food to eat.

So that inspired me to start up the food selling business because no matter how much you have if you don't use the money to buy your needs then the money is useless.

That scenario show me how important food is to everyone in this life. So you are not only doing business selling these stuffs but you are also helping other people by providing their needs.

What challenges might one face when starting this business and how can they be overcome?

Well the major challenge one will face while starting this business is awareness and also where to get the foodstuffs in bulk to retail to those who need smaller quantities.

Once people know that you have started the business, then they will start patronising you and in that way you will be well known since it is a necessity and everyone needs it.

Also if you can make contacts with this big farmers and you are getting the supply of these goods at all times then you can also be able to give it out in a smaller quantities to retailers.

So in summary the challenge one may face is awareness and a way of getting these goods in large quantities and these can be solved by creating awareness such as advertising, meeting big farmers to always supply you the products needed.

Foodstuffs doesn't require much advert because it is a necessity. So all you need to do is to find a shop in a strategic area where almost everyone comes around and once they see you with the goods then they will automatically start patronising you.

Also you may want to make your price lesser than what others are selling since you get them in large quantities in this way you will draw all the needed customers to your side and your business has started.

So creation of awareness implies getting a strategic area and having available all that the customers will need. It is always good for them to come and see that product that they need in your store.
