Review of My City Development | Etinan federal road

Hello guys how is your day going I hope it's going smoothly, in my entry today I will be taking part in a contest organized by @yourloveguru in the Steem Entrepreneurs community which has the theme "Review of My City Development".

HOW HAS YOUR CITY DEVELOPED OVER THE PAST DECADE OR TWO, AND WHAT FACTORS HAVE INFLUENCED THAT DEVELOPMENT?

As an African country Nigeria which is my country is currently going through a slow stage of development due to the level of corruption which is entangled with the countries political system and structures.

My city which is Etinan local government area in akwa ibom state during the past decade has really develop a lot, because looking back at some years ago by that time I was young the federal road was so bad and a lot of accidents really like to occur.

But today the roads has been expanded and repaired to a higher standard and some of the factors that has influence this development is the changes in power and too much complains from the citizens.

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE MOST SIGNIFICANT CHANGES YOU HAVE OBSERVED IN YOUR CITY'S DEVELOPMENT, AND HOW HAVE THEY AFFECTED YOUR COMMUNITY?

The most significant changes which I have seen in our city is the federal road which our dear governor has repaired for us and it is in an amazing condition and has really brought boost in business for everyone.

Where there is good roads there is increase in productivity as a lot of businesses will be upgraded because investors will have easy access to locate you or your area to establish a business that will benefit the entire community.

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE POSITIVE DEVELOPMENTS YOU HAVE SEEN IN YOUR CITY, AND HOW HAVE THEY IMPROVED THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR RESIDENTS?

The positive development which I have seen is the newly constructed Uyo - Etinan road which have help great more links between our community and investors to be able to come and established new businesses there by creating more jobs opportunities for the residents.

WHAT ARE SOME AREAS OF YOUR CITY THAT YOU FEEL COULD BE IMPROVED, AND WHAT IDEAS DO YOU HAVE FOR ADDRESSING THESE ISSUES?

Some areas in my city which I think should be improved by government is the rural areas in Etinan local government areas and also the government should try and improve the level of electricity supply in the state.

HOW DO YOU ENVISION THE FUTURE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUR CITY, AND WHAT STEPS DO YOU THINK SHOULD BE TAKEN TO ENSURE THAT IT CONTINUES TO GROW AND THRIVE?

I have a great vision for my city and I know that with time that much and greater things will be achieved by the grace of God and the steps which I think that should be taken in other to achieve this are;

• Improve governance
• Reduce corruption in high places
• The government should take care of the needs of the people
