Economic Diary-Rural Market Pottery Business

Rural market means a different feeling. Today at 10 o'clock in the morning I went out to the markets. These markets are mostly empty places or fields. I have been haggling for a long time to get the clay items. In fact, the prices of the clay items have gone up a lot due to lack of use.

Our country is known as a collection of traditions. Pottery or earthenware is mixed with the tradition of village-Bengali. At one time there was a great demand of people on our earthenware. People's use and demand for earthenware has reduced to a great extent and is about to disappear with the evolution of time. Potters or potters are making clay items and selling them in the market. Clay wares range from pots and pans to clay banks, showpieces, jewelry, pitchers, flower tubs, vases, lids, and clay toys for small children. They may be making a living by sitting in the market. Many potters are doing other business apart from this profession. This business does not require much capital. But the Kumaras have fixed the business through their own tireless work and capital.

It can be said that potters have been making clay items for many years. Then they sell the pottery at no fixed price. But they are selling at a price they charge, calculating everything from the cost of making them. In fact, in return for their hard work, they continue in this business till now.

One is doing business keeping the price of each clay item in hand. Maybe they are making a profit of 5 taka from each product minus their cost. These potters don't just sit in the market, they go from village to village and sell. Due to the availability of many types of products in the current market, the price of clay products has decreased, thus the inexperienced businessmen are left behind. Therefore, only then can the pottery business expand by leaning towards the products made of clay.

Clay products are familiar to all of us and are a major part of our heritage. We will make all the traders of this pottery more interested so that they can sustain the business through their hard work. Capital is the main business.
