Helping With Steem : How Steem has helped me and others around me.

1. Have you ever personally done charity work using the STEEM currency you earned from your post rewards? If so, please specify the type of activity and who the beneficiary was.

Oh yes, I have done a lot of charity work with Steem. I joined the Steemit platform because of the charity work that was done by someone to me. As a person, I never knew that cryptocurrency exist and I never had a full idea on how it works until I was introduced to the platform.

My first help came as a result of the money given to me by my mentor @simonnwigwe. I was in need of money to complete my school fees and he supported me with ₦10,000 which when I enquired he told me he got the money from blogging.

I was eager to learn and I pleaded with him to guide me and he did. Today also I can't count the number of persons I have helped with the money I have been earning from this amazing platform.

Since I joined the platform I have helped both friends and family and one of the once I will like to talk about is the contribution we did for one of our students who lost the parents in a gasthly motor accident. He was left with no one and he need to also continue his studies.

I donated ₦15,000 from the money I have been earning in Steem and I have also told him about the platform but the challenge he has at the moment is lack of smart phone. So but I know once he get a smart phone he can be able to look for money for himself.

2. Have you ever donated STEEM to a charity account in a particular community? Have you ever participated in the distribution of social assistance?Please tell us with your own words

Yes, in most community where I make publication such as Steem for better life, hindiwhale community and even in this community I also set a beneficiary percent to the community account created for charity. Since I can't help directly, I believe the little contribution I do via setting beneficiary will go a long way.

So if you also check the payout of this post, you will notice that I have set some percentage beneficiary to the charity account created by this community. I do this in almost every community I make a post because it is always good to set the beneficiary to the community charity account that you are posting since almost all communities have their own account.

3. Tell us also how you feel when doing charity activities using STEEM, sharing with others in need

I'm sure that anyone who has been helped before will understand the major reason why doing charity is very important to us all. As I was assisted and I was happy so also I feel happy when doing a charity work because I know I'm putting a smile in the face of someone somewhere.

I don't know who it may be but since directly I can't reach out to those in need because of the limited resources I believe the charity accounts are used properly to convey our messages to all those who are in need.
