To develop a country, its cities must be developed firsts. Therefore, the government of every country always takes good initiatives for the development of their cities. As a democratic country, the government is elected once every five years in our country. The government tries to ensure our basic needs such as education, clothing, housing, food, medical etc. After ensuring the basic needs, the government does various projects for the development of the country.

Hello friends, I hope everyone is well. Through this contest today, I will share with you about the various development works of our city. Moreover, I will share with you how the current government of our country has improved our city so much. First of all thanks Steem Entrepreneurs for giving us such a beautiful concept.

Public Services

Health Sector: Various initiatives of our city in health sector are commendable. When the Covid-19 situation was very bad, the city corporation took many good initiatives.

Covid vaccination was given free for all the people of the city. Free treatment has been provided in various health centers of the city. As the population of our country is very high, all public and private health complexes in the city are designated as Covid Emergency Centers so that all people can get vaccinated very quickly. All people have been able to take vaccination in a very short time.

Medical Sector: Moreover, a few days ago, dengue had spread in a very dangerous form in the city. That is why health complex provided free medicine and treatment for dengue patients in the city.

All gynecologists have provided free treatment for pregnant women. The government medical facilities in our city have increased the number of seats for patients. Our Chittagong Medical has about 2000 patient seats but just a few days ago this number of seats was very limited due to which people had to face many problems. Now patients can get treatment very easily by increasing the number of seats.

Education Sector: Our country has progressed a lot in the field of education. Now for development primary education has been made compulsory for all people to further improve the education sector all textbooks from first class to tenth class are provided free.

Moreover, separate stipend has been arranged for those who are poor meritorious students. Our city corporation has taken all kinds of responsibility so that every student can study well. The more educated the nation is, the more advanced the nation is. Currently, the education rate in our city has increased many times compared to earlier. Which is a big achievement for us.

City Environment

Compared to other cities, our Chittagong city is much improved and clean. Our city is called the second capital of the country because all the business and trade of the country is conducted from our city. The largest sea port of Bangladesh is located in Chittagong. So our Chittagong city is playing a big role in the development of the country. That is why our city is constantly being made beautiful, clean and developed.

Since all the goods imported from outside have to be transported to different parts of the country through the sea port, the transport system in our city is very advanced. A separate four-lane toll road has been constructed so that freight vehicles can easily transport goods to different parts of the country and separate highways have been constructed for the people of the city so that people do not have to face any kind of traffic jam.

Military Camp for public security

As our city plays a very important role in the country's economy, the military always guards our city to provide security. Military camps have been set up in different parts of our city so that military action can be taken immediately in case of any major accident. Law and order forces are active 24 hours in their work to provide security to the people of the city.

The environment of the city is naturally a little flamboyant but in order for people to live in peace in our city, various trees have been planted on the side of the road and seats have been kept for people to sit at different spots of the city.

Economy: City government programs

Tourist Spot Development: In addition to developing other sectors in our city, the tourism sector has also been given a lot of importance. Parks have been created in different parts of the city so that the people of the city can have a little walk after the busy work. Botanical garden has been created so that people can smell nature. which is open to all. There is no need to spend any money to enter here. The government is taking various initiatives to improve the tourism sector. So that the people of the city can come and hang out with their loved ones.

Costal Area Development: Our Chittagong city is famous for its sea. Cox's Bazar, the world's largest beach, is located here. Various foreign tourists come to visit Cox's Bazar. So our tourism sector is being developed more so that it can contribute more to the economy of our country. People who live on the coast are often faced with various natural disasters. Therefore, in order to protect the people living on the coast from various natural disasters, berry dams have been built on the seashore so that the coastal people can be saved from any major danger.
