Earning your own money and doing it from home is not an impossible thing to do in this modern era. As long as we have the ability and willingness to struggle, we will certainly be able to make money. However, the process of making money from home requires creative and innovative ideas, perseverance and openness to technology in order to achieve success.

Based on my personal experience so far, I can have my own income from home by becoming a blogger on the steemit platform. Writing content and getting payouts from my posts.

But before joining steemit, I also had experience in making money from home, namely by making handicrafts which I then sold. Various handicrafts that I made myself from home and I marketed offine and online via Facebook, and WhatsApp.

My DIY hobby is making handicrafts made from natural materials such as spices and coconut shells. The various handicrafts that I make are related as home decoration items. This hobby of mine turns out to be fruitful. I usually produce dried flowers and wreaths according to customer requests.

Below I show some of the processes of handicrafts that I make and sell so that I make money.

Some time ago before joining steemit, I was still focused on developing my Instagram account specifically for home decoration.

I also joined the community of homedecor lovers Indonesia, and got a lot of inspiration and, my activity at that time in decorating the house, made me glimpsed by manufacturers of special home interior products, so I was contacted by suppliers and received endorsement requests. Of course, this made me able to make my own money through the endorse services that I did. In addition, I also received products of decor items from suppliers.

For me, this is very fun because basically decorating my home is a hobby. And when I do my hobby and get paid, it's really happiness and satisfaction. Moreover, all the work can be done from home.

There are many home-based businesses that have achieved success, the trick is to be innovative, diligent and the strategy is to "pick up the ball", meaning that you want to approach consumers and fulfil consumer desires. Because the consumer is king.
