SEC S15W2 - Friday (26-01-2024) : My Economic Activity Including Today's Market Visits, Product Reviews and Purchases.

Assalamu Alaikum everyone. Today I am going to participate in Steemit Engagement Challenge S15 W2 in the Steem Entrepreneurs community. Where we have been told Economic - Diary Game has presented the challenge. Today I will share with you a full day diary with all my financial activities of the day as per the theme of the challenge through this contest.

Today is my holiday. Holidays are my days for doing all my personal work. Today I had already planned to go to the nearest market of my area and buy something I wanted. So in the morning, I, my sister and her husband got ready to go to the market after having breakfast. Almost all things are available in the market I go to today. All things are bought and sold together at one place which gives many benefits to buyers like us. This market is sitting every Friday. First I am presenting what I bought today and the product reviews section wise.

The first thing we noticed in the market were the boys and girls clothing sections. At present, since the winter season is going on in Bangladesh, the sellers are selling winter clothes as well as clothes. I saw about 400 to 500 shopkeepers have their stalls in this market. In which most of the shops are selling clothes.

First, my sister's husband liked a shirt for her. He visited different shops and bought a shirt. Then I went to the girls three piece store. After visiting a few shops there I like a three piece. I bargained for that. At some point in the marriage, the shopkeeper agreed. Then I purchase the three piece for myself.

After that I went to my most attractive section artificial flower shop. Every time I come here, I always buy flowers from here. So I didn't break my record today either. I have purchased many artificial flowers today. There was almost a collection of flowers.

For example, sunflower flowers, different types of tulips, rose flowers, marigolds, orchids, different types of foliage, different types of indoor plants are available in artificial plants. They even sell artificial grass.I chose and purchased 11 items out of all. These flowers I buy to decorate my home and office desk. I like decorating the house with flowers. Try to fulfill all your hobbies as much as possible.

Then I saw some children's doll shop. Where the shopkeepers are selling different types of baby dolls. Each doll is selling between 300 and 500 Bangladeshi Taka. Besides, not only dolls, but also other shopkeepers are selling various toys for boys and girls.

On the other side, I saw different types of home decoration showpieces being sold. For example, Jute items, vases, wall clocks, wall mats etc. I love the wall mats. They include wall mats in Islamic, floral, fruit, rural scenes, etc. The prices of which are starting from 200 taka to 1000 taka.

Then we went to the bag shops. From party bags to travel bags are also available. Party bags or hand purses are available between 800 and 1500 taka. Where the price is 38 to 71.42 steem. I liked a party bag when I was looking at bags. But the price is higher compared to the shopkeeper so I didn't buy the bag.

Then we went to the shoe store. There are many types of winter loafers selling. We came to buy shoes for my sister's husband. After much scrutiny, he chose two pairs of shoes. We bought two shoes from the shoe store. Then there is a jewelery shop next to it. Although I don't have much of an attraction towards jewellery.

The most common store among these retailers is the food store. Anywhere in Bangladesh, when a market or fair is organized, the main attraction is the food stalls. However, I could not cover the full food stalls in the market. Still, I am giving reviews of the food shops that I have seen in front of me.

Today, among the food stalls in the market, I saw Fuchka shops, various fruit pickle shops, Jujube shops, all these are street food. Besides, we go to Velpuri shop. We eat Velpuri there. The price of each Velpuri is 5 Taka and 0.23 Steem. There they were selling a kind of pulse with spices.

Then while walking I saw a betel leaf seller. Let us tell you that betel leaves are very popular in our country. Here, at the end of each meal, the guests are given kheer, lime and betel nut along with betel leaf. There are many herbal properties of betel leaf which help us to remove constipation. The price of a betel leaf is 10 taka and 0.47 is its steem price.

I'm almost at the end of every store I visit. Actually it is such a big area that it was not possible for me to cover flowers in one day. Still I tried to check every shop and their products. And to gather my essentials from it.

Among other different kinds of shops, I saw cookware shops. Where there are kitchen utensils which are made of steel aluminum. There are shops selling melamine products, kitchen tools and other types. I only buy what I need when I need it. I don't see many new or essential kitchen tools worth buying today.

After that, I saw selling blankets. Then on the other side, I saw a very beautiful sofa cushion shop. The cushions were of various designs. You have the option of getting 1 or 5 sets as per your choice of color. There was also a bed sheet shop in front. Today we bought three bed sheets. They were of very good quality.

Then it was almost evening. So we decided let's go home now. Because at this time the market is very crowded and the number of people has doubled. So we headed home. I freshened up after coming home. And evening snacks. Had some street food like snacks outside so was not very hungry. Then I present to you how much money I spent today :

This was my shopping for the day. My total cost in today's Economic Activity is 9,380 Bangladeshi Taka and the price according to Steem is 446.67. At present the market price of Bangladeshi products is very high. Due to which it is somewhat difficult for middle class people like us to meet daily needs. However, I balance my finances to meet my needs and those of my family.
