Steemit Engagement Challenge S9W6 : Hard Work or Smart Work ?

Assalamu Alaikum everyone. Today I'm going to be participating in the Steemit Engagement Challenge S9W6 in the Steem Entrepreneurs community. Where the main content of the competition has been said Hard Work or Smart Work? I think a very important topic has given us challenges that I face in my daily life. So, let's begin.

Explain the difference between working hard and working smart according to your understanding?

I can say from my experience that hard work is doing physical work to reach one's desired goal and on the other hand smart work is to reach desired goal by doing less effort. In fact one who works hard also uses his intellect and labor and one who works smart also uses his intellect and labor. The only difference is the technique of use and the variation of effort. We can differentiate these two things below:

• Hard work : For a person to work hard, he must be serious enough towards a particular task. Because I think of hard work as a long-term labor. Because from my personal experience when I achieve something through hard work I have to do it with a lot of stress and anxiety. Hard work never ensures maximum productivity. I think hard work involves a physical commitment.

• Smart Work : In today's age we give more priority to smart work than hard work. Because I think smart work is efficient and less manpower. Less effort is done in both planning and conducting our work which is more effective in achieving the goals. It gives us the desired results with less effort and increases productivity by incorporating techniques to achieve it.

Working hard and working smart, which do you think is better for increasing productivity?

I think smart work gets the most acceptance for increasing productivity in terms of hard work and smart work. I have mentioned earlier that hard work involves more physical work than can be achieved through much effort. But even hard work results in less productivity, and this implies that hard work does not always guarantee success and productivity.

On the other hand smart work is also a hard work but in this case it helps a lot to increase productivity. Smart work helps us increase our productivity by getting the job done with less effort, goal setting and proper management while implementing the plan. Also, smart work ensures good health through less work and achieves work balance and satisfaction to increase individual productivity.

Do you apply both in your work activities or neither? Explain case example.

I implement smart work in my daily activities. As I am a govt employee and freelancer as well as working on Steemit. Therefore, in this case, I sit in one place for all my work. And it doesn't require me to do any physical hard work.

As I sit in the office and do all the work on the computer on my desk. And when I get home I do freelancing and Steemit work effortlessly on my laptop. In this, I manage all my online based tasks from home with minimal effort. This shows that I am able to increase the productivity of my work without straining my body.

I have been working regularly on Steemit platform for the past 6 months. In 6 months I have earned 4000 Steem Power. And my Steem growth is possible only because of the support of the Steemit team. Besides, I am very thankful to the Steemit team that Steemit is the source of my additional income online besides the job. Which is helping me a lot to fulfill my essential needs.

I also applaud the steemit team for their hard work day in and day out to improve the steemit career of all our users. Steemit is a good source of income as well as I think has alleviated unemployment for many. I am always looking for the improvement of Steemit team and its platform and I thank and appreciate them for supporting me.

Conclusion

Finally, I would like to say that all the work in the world is hard work, but the thing to see is how I will apply that hard work in my work. It may be harshly or smartly. But in all work there is hard work. But my point of view is that even though the result is same, hard work consumes our time and energy whereas if we work smartly we can get more done in less time.
