Today unfolded with the gentle cadence of maternal responsibilities. Waking up my daughter on wintry mornings remains a delightful challenge. After the morning rituals of freshening her up and ensuring a wholesome breakfast, I embarked on my day. While a proper breakfast may not be a personal necessity, the day always starts with the indispensable cup of tea, a cherished elixir that propels me into the day's endeavors.

Post breakfast, my mother-in-law and I embarked on a venture to the supermarket, our mission being to procure the elusive duck meat. The winter had thus far denied us this culinary pleasure, and our yearning for duck meat vuna had reached its peak. The shopping list also included other essential groceries. Our quest proved successful, culminating in the acquisition of two ducks, their combined cost amounting to 1460 BDT .

Returning home, the kitchen became my sanctuary as I delved into the art of culinary creation. A simple yet flavorful "fish curry with tomato and potato" was conjured, catering to the palate of my precious daughter during lunchtime. The meal was followed by the customary afternoon siesta, a cherished ritual that we both relish.

The day held in its tapestry a special plan—a dinner escapade to honor my husband's persistent yearning for our renowned and traditional "kacchi biriyani." The imminent departure from town added a sense of urgency to this culinary adventure, making it a mandatory indulgence. "Sultan's Dine" became the chosen venue, where we relished two half portions of kacchi biriyani, complemented by succulent chicken roast, flavorful kaban, and two varieties of drinks. The symphony of flavors and the convivial ambiance rendered the dining experience priceless, with the total cost amounting to 1109 BDT.

Returning home with hearts brimming with contentment, the day's activities etched a tapestry of familial warmth, gastronomic delight, and moments of unbridled joy.
