SEC S15W2 - 28-01-2024: ... A Busy Day At The Market.

Greetings friends, and happy Sabbath day to you all. Today is Sunday as we all know, my friends had already promised that they would come to visit me today being Sunday. So I decided to prepare something that they would enjoy.

And I know they usually enjoy eating my rice and stew, so I went to the market to buy the ingredients that I would use in preparing my stew. When I arrived at the market it was very busy, and that is because every Sunday is their market day.

So in other not to waste time in the market I quickly went to where there weren't many people to buy the ingredients. I started by buying the most important ingredient which is tomatoes. I bought tomatoes for 350 Naira,

Immediately I paid the lady her money, and eventually the person selling next to the lady was selling pepper and onions, so I bought pepper for 100 Naira and onions for 200 Naira. the onions weren't as I expected, so I told the guy to add another onion for 100 Naira.

After that, I went to buy some spices, which were Curry for 100 Naira, thyme for 100 Naira, ginger for 100 Naira, and garlic for 50 naira. I then left for where I would buy my meat, on my way to buy meat I stopped by to buy some sugarcane,

Sad enough the guy did not have the change to give me, so I left and went to buy my meat. I got to where they were selling meat and saw many people with my usual customers, so I left to the other person.

After buying all the ingredients I would need to prepare my delicious stew, I then left for my house, and my transportation money for going and coming back cost me 400 naira.

I immediately started preparing the stew I was also happy that my friends were not here yet, and wanted to finish cooking the food before they arrived.
