A WORKING SUG
The Students Union Government Federal University Otuoke Bayelsa State on the 28th day of October, 2021 through the office of the President and Director of Welfare commenced the training of Students of the University on the areas of Tailoring and Saloon.
The program which was initiated by the SUG through the office of the Welfare Comrade Ebiokopo Joseph Dickson and the SUG PRESIDENT Comrade MacDonald Blessing Felix flagged the program officially opened.
The aim was to ensure that the Union is able to train Students on Entrepreneurial skills not just the academics alone but believes an extra skill added to the degree is eminence and would go a long way.
The Union also extended the courtesy of eligibility to non-students i.e. both Students and Non-students can apply for the training and get certified at the end of the training period.
The training is scheduled to last for 3½ months, while a certification fee of N15,000 would be paid.
The SUG PRESIDENT has promised that the trainees would be opportune to learn from top tailors and fashion designers and after the training, loan will be given to best Students to open a shop for themselves.
This is a great one done by the SUG of an institution.
FUO Connects, a news media brand was live to cover all the happenings and processes.

Good work, currently I just came back from my schools entrepreneuship lessons. I agree with you that every certificate should be accompanied with a skill acquisition.
