Special greetings to Campusconnect community and the Management of the community. I have decided to also Present my entry for this amazing topic and trust me, you will enjoy reading this piece once more😂 grab a bottle of water which maybe needed to sip while I take you safely on this bumpy ride😊

ARE YOU AN ACTIVE POLITICIAN IN YOUR UNIVERISTY?
No, as of writing this post but I'm a prominent and inevitable influencer in the political world on campus. This is because I run a media brand which housed 80% of the school population. So the services of my brand is required from time to time when it comes to advert and awareness. Check the following pic 😊 below

You see the above pic, I was featured to be a moderator in the SUG manifesto night.

Now, being a politician is good and not a bad idea but practicing it is another thing and oftentimes, students misunderstands the power of politics and the efficacy thereby wasting time on irrelevant and insignificant activities or project. This is why I have opt in to become a media Personnel and business man rather than sharing their little political consolation alowee they are being paid less most times compare to a business tycoon on campus.

ARE YOU A SUPPORTER OF ANY STUDENT OR ASPIRANT IN YOUR UNIVERISTY?
If I say I'm it could be used against me for being baised because I'm a media Personnel so I'm supposed to neutral. But I will let you a little secret to your ears, 😉 I do really have some choices of political aspirants which I closely meet with them and offer advices and ideas on how they can Achieve success and milestone in their political ambitions. Oftentimes, this politicians come on their own to seek consultation and knowledge from me... This is because they've seen what I can offer from my expertise and experience.

The above Picture is the campaign pic of the current SUG President of Federal University Otuoke. Offcourse, we did have a meeting together which he solicited for my backing and support. I did accepted discharged every ounce of my supports to him during his campaign and he won at last. I know I'm not supposed to indulge as a media Personnel but the position is too sensitive and if handle by the wrong hand could tantamount to huge damage, so I inevitably contributed as a student to make sure the right government poseses the sit at the end of the day.

WHAT DO YOU MAKE OF POLITICS IN YOUR UNIVERSITY?
Well, they are more and much but I will start with the fun side. This politicians in this side of the country always want to do the same thing their grandfathers are doing now 😂 check the pic below

You can see that Parliamentarian carrying a maze 😂 but is this how they carry it?😂 Even the carpenter or furniture who constructed this haven't seen a real maze before😂 I just week Sha🤕.

But don't laugh my school too yet first, since 2019, the method adopted for voting is the e-voting pattern unlike the ballot and manual voting. E-voting enables student to vote from their house by receiving a pin and using it alongside their matriculation number to vote for their favorite candidates. This make voting fast, easy and cost efficient. It also reduce violence.

Below are some pics of students voting with their phone I took from our last election.

Some students who failed to receive their voting pin can proceed to an open ICT office to collect their pin manually. I also have a pic for that.

HAVE YOU EVER HAD A POLITICAL POSITION
yes I have even though I didn't go for any except that I was recommended and appointed for the two I managed to serve.
This first one was being recommended and appointed as the PRO, Public relation officer of my Department in 2019. While second one was the appointment as the same office but this time as an Eleco member for Faculty elections.
I served very well and discharged my duties to my very best even though all I ever wanted was the money 😂

LAST WORDS
Politics in University is very good because it breeds intending politicians and creates an opportunity for them even after when they are done in the University.
For instance, a SUG President would still or can get links to other politicians in the state via using the privilege of being a SUG President and after the school they can be offer some political apportionments. I have seen many past SUG President Achieving this. Just play your games well as a politician on campus.
I will leave you with a political banner😂

You've spoken so well! I told myself one thing, that I will never indulge in anything called politics in this life! Unless God made me an appointed leader one day!

I'm glad that your school adopted e-voting. It eliminates to a large extent rigging and stress
