Campus Games Championship- Prize Pool- 200 Steem

Hello friends and welcome to our campus games update and we have a lot of exciting news and updates sequel to the game kick off on the first of June 2021. We plan to make these games very exciting and incentive to every steemain on the blockchain.

Winners Ranking

Campus games season 1 will kick off with a large prize pool of 200 steem, we will select the top 3 teams as the winners of this contest. The team with the highest amount of votes in will eventually take the Gold, Silver, and the Bronze medal.

We expect to see more teams register and join campus games. We need at least a minimum of 5 teams to register for these games to have a competition.

Games

1. Writing Competition- Fiction writing(Week 1)
   Campus writing competition is a game where participants showcase their writing skills. There are many creative writers in the steemit community, and we will love to explore their world of creativity via their posts.

So for this game, participants will be making original fiction writing based on a given clue, participants will then develop and create a wonderful storyline using the given clue.

Rules

• Participants are required to make an original work, plagiarism will not be tolerated and will lead to loss of points and if repeated disqualification of the group.

• Only five members per team.

• The team's works should be submitted way before the deadline.

• Story should be not less than 300 words and not more than 1500 words.

• Participants should include #campusfiction and #campusgames as one of their first 5 tags.

• Participants should submit their entry as a link to the announcement post for the game( Writing Competition- Fiction writing).

• Be creative and follow the rules.

1. Music- Cover Creation(Week 2)

The second game is all about music and we all love music right?? Then here is one for our music lovers. Participants are required to create a cover of an original song or music. They could recreate the song with different lyrics and sounds or simply go with the original model and sing this in a super fascinating lyric way.

Rules

• Participants can post their videos either on youtube or on Dtube, whichever platform is more convenient is acceptable.

• Participants will create an entry post here on the steemit blockchain with the link to the video and basic info about the original song.

• Participants should submit their entry as a link to the announcement(Week 2) post for the game(Music- Cover Creation).

• Participants should include #campusmusic and #campusgames as one of their first 5 tags.

• The team's works should be submitted way before the deadline.

1. Art- Portrait Drawing(week 3)

Art is beautiful and a force to be reckoned with, we have a lot of amazing artists and this is a great and fun way to showcase their prowess. Participants are expected to make portraits drawing of anything, provide background information and submit their post link as an entry to the game.

Rules

• Participants should submit their entry as a link to the announcement(Week 3) post for the game( Art- Portrait Drawing).

• Participants could use any tool of their choice, they could use a pencil or pen to make the artwork.

• Work must be original and have the unique mark of the artist.

• Participants should submit their entry as a link to the announcement(Week 3) post for the game(Art- Portrait Drawing).

• Participants should include #campusart and #campusgames as one of their first 5 tags.

1. MediaWorks- Graphics Designs(week 4)
   Graphic Design is a craft where designers create beautiful and visual content to communicate messages. This game is focused solely on creating innovative and beautiful designs following a layout theme. We will provide a theme or topic for the design and participants will work to deliver master class designs and compete for spectators votes.

Rules

• All works and graphic images must be original and free of plagiarism.

• Participants are free to use any app or program of their choice to create their entry.

• Participants should include #campusmediaworks and #campusgames as one of their first 5 tags.

• Participants should submit their entry as a link to the announcement(Week 4) post for the game(MediaWorks- Graphics Designs).

Voting System

Campus games will be introducing a voting system as a consensus mechanism. Campus Connect team will not be selecting the winners, active steemians all over the world will vote and make their favorite entries winners of the tournament.

Campus games will feature only 4games which will run for 6 days and a polling session that will last for 48 hours after the close of the contest for the week. This allows steemains to vote and choose their favorite entry.

At the end of the polls, votes will be counted and the entry with the highest number of votes wins, followed by the second and the third.
