An old poor woman who married a certain man and gave birth to six children but lost both the husband and the children in a farm fire outbreak. The poor woman was only left with an old house, this made her to become lonely that she would wake up every morning and go to a near-by market, she would get to market and then sit at the market corner and beg. She begged for almost 15 years at that market corner every single day of her life.
The old woman house was unkempt and filthy, and the house smelled horribly because of the stench coming out of it, soon the neighbors and passerbys started complaining and couldn't stand the smell anymore, they approached the old woman to help her clean the house up but she didn't agree, so they had no other option than to summon the boys in the area who knocked down the door and cleaned the house when the old woman was away. While they were cleaning the house they saw small bags of money all over the house that she has collected over the years from begging.
The boys gathered the money and counted it, they realized that the old poor woman was a millionaire without her knowing. The boys waited outside the house in eagerness to share the good news with her. At the closing of the market in the evening she arrived home, and was met by the boys who told her that there was no need for her to beg any more that the small bags of money she has all over the house has made her a rich woman, a millionaire.
She said nothing at all; only went into her house and locked the door. The next morning, she woke up as usual, went to the nearby market and sat at the corner and continued to beg.
The neighbors and the boys saw that obviously she was begging because she was dedicated to it and not because she doesn't have money. She has no great plan on what to do with the money she gets from begging but only doing it because of her lonliness.
Days turned into months and months into years she kept on repeating the same process until the day she died.
Moral lesson
A successful life demands dedication. It requires sticking with what we do in life whole-souled, deeply held, and not giving up even if it gets tough.
We live in the world where only the tough survives and they do because they are dedicated and not willing to give up. Becoming successful demands repeating the same process everyday till we meet out desired goal.

Wow!
I love the lesson you pointed out in the story. True, only the toughest and most dedicated survive. The old woman looked beyond her monetary gains and stuck to begging to fill the void created by her loneliness.
Thank you for this didactic story.
