How to increase the performance of your laptop by closing unwanted apps your laptop

Good evening steemians, I hope we all had a blissful day, I decided to share my ideas today concerning out laptops and the maintenance acts. Hope it helps

Many at times our devices such as laptops and phones tend to be very slow and affects the performance and the work rate when in use.
Most times we find it challenging to close se apps running on the desktop. Don't worry there are some solutions to your problem.
Firstly my name is IKPECHUKWU TOCHUKWU Gospel, am a student and also a computer hardware specialist. Before we start, let's list out some common problems associated with slow performance on the laptop computer and the causes .

But before I continue let me show us how to force close a software that refused to close or is hanging. In this case we are using Adobe Photoshop.

• Right click on your taskbar

• Select task manager

• Select the app(Adobe Photoshop) and click on end task

Hardware s that affect the speed of a computer

• RAM
• Harddisk
• Processor speed
• Graphics card

Most at times we find out that our Ram is high, yet the system performance is slower. This is because, either the harddisk is low or it's about to crash and needs replacement or formatting.
Sometimes it could also be as a result of the processor speed. There are different types of processor.

• Core I series
• Pentium
• Core duo
• Amd.
  The fastest and also considered as the strongest amongst them is the Intel core series.
  They are of many generations.
  We have
  Core I 2 upto core I 7.

Now let's quickly look at how to optimize the system performance.

• Whenever you are working with your laptop, keep it on hard surfaces like tables in order for good ventilation. That means do not keep them on foams or bed as it may affect the ventilation system, that is the fan and heat sink. Which may cause the system to overheat and slow down the performance.

• Always close background application's that are not in use at that moment.

• Shutting down the system properly.
  Many, especially students who find it as a long way or Disturbed to go through the normal way of shutting down, so they end up either hibernating or just pressing the power buttons. This may slow down the system when rebooted. So it's advicable to shut down the proper way and avoid damage.

• Installing Windows and apps that can run properly on the system. Many at times we see ourselves in the shoe of having an app we want to install on our PC but the PC is recommending that we shouldn't, or heavier windows or softwares but we tend to ignore this. So before downloading a software,check the basic requirements and properties in order to secure your laptop and desktop.

• Upgrade of RAM.
  When the RAM is low and need more help that means there is need for upgrade or even changing the entire thing. All the laptops have the maximum RAM storage or can work with .
  For example when you are about to get a laptop, when the original ram storage is 4gb, it could be extended to atleast 16gb ram storage.
