Hello steemians , Good evening it's been a long time being active here on steemit after I lost my details but thank God for my Google drive, I never knew I had it backed up (my passwords and keys).
Am also glad to be part of this very contest hosted by our strong and ever ready teaching aunty @goodybest here @campusconnectng , it's an honor.

INTRODUCTION
School life is one nice experience I won't ever forget in this life as it shouldn't be forgotten, though as at the moment you are experiencing hardship and bad days when we were in school u might find it frustrating and would wish to disappear or end it but knowing the fact you can't do that also brings another frustration 😂. I want to share with us my school life, both my high school and college.

MY HIGH SCHOOL EXPERIENCE.

As a young teenager who has never left the house to visit a family and stay with them for about two weeks or more it wasn't an easy task for me to leave my parents house and embark on a journey of schooling in a boarding school.

I was admitted into Federal Government college Ohafia as a fresher and a newbie in the field of bullying and fagging😂😂.
I was assigned a hostel and a school father who will mentor and protect me from other bullies' 😂😂.
The journey began, thus the first week was a tourism week for the new intake and we were so free with our seniors and teachers pampered every one who was there as a jss1 student and more importantly they never flogged us so we could get used to the school environment I think it was just to keep us and our mind away from the terror we may take seniors as. Though during those times we noticed some seniors were taken chances and taking hold of most fresher's provisions and properties so they will drink their items and use them for what we in our school call sharking (soaking garri, Milo, cabin, golden morn, cornflakes and the rest of them ) .
A flash to how school life really made us wise

I could remember having a senior as a friend who would always ask me for provision and the rest so we could shark but I wasn't giving him the provision he wanted because I believe it would finish so I took precautions and never allowed him take my things .
My high school life was very interesting
The days we had to hide from seniors who have sworn not to leave us alone 😂 they will send you messages m I was always the good boy type that obeys seniors and was never stubborn but I noticed back then good boys never paid in the hands of seniors they will only end up sending you messages and extortion was the deal 😂.
I had to change my pattern and move into another dimension.
I had a very funny friend 9f mine who would always get ideas in how to run away from seniors during visiting days so as to not be billed by them, the seniors will always be at the gate to as for what they brought to you for visiting. I would lie that I was never visited 😂 and will escape that one for the main time.
I also faced challenges from seniors like bringing food and our meats for them, whenever it was time to go for meal we the junior students find ways to hide from our seniors in order to escape being asked to bring food or meat or even carry their plates to the dinning hall, it was then a huge stress and big battle for us the junior students but when i get to remember those days it becomes an amazing and unforgettable moment to shar with my friends.

I could recall back then in school, there was this hereditary punishment for ss1 and ss2 i was always afraid of approaching that punishment it was more like a wicked act but teachers think it was for actually cleaning the environment but certainly the seniors then would want to use that to punish us for no just reasons😂😂, but there would always be way out. I always looked for a hide out to punishments i cannot partake.

One of the moments to laugh and gist about during my school days during night devotions we could even dodge to praise God because of the fact that we cannot just sing and pray in peace without seniors interrupting and telling us to repeat the devotion in total and we might end the devotion very late.
Sometimes we even up buying illegal foods we never wanted to buy from seniors but I wont lie I really enjoyed my secondary high school life.
I have a lot more stories to share to us, is it my academics I was always afraid to be the class captain but I would be appointed always by classmates, I was not actually the so much intelligent star but I was among the tops in the class with an attitude of being shy to talk about my academic success because I found it normal to excel.
Basically college is a place where you learn things both bad and good you get to follow up a life style it may really not matter but you build your self there and set your self in a default that will hardly be changed or influenced in the outside world .

why I Like My High School Life

1. During my high school days I was soo much opportune to learn a lot of this and that made me love it so much.
2. Normally after suffering in the hands of seniors you will also be a senior one day, when the time comes you also exercise your own supremacy as a senior, so I enjoyed that I actually don't have anyone to hide my stuff from and also eat the way I want and exercise freedom.
   3 I was a an athlete back then, so I love the sporting moments the inter-house sports when you get to win a gold medal for your house and your house mates are proud of you
3. I loved the moments we shared as west African Examination Certificate (WAEC) candidates when you have the exam classes only in school and the rest were at home.
   I really do miss those days in high school.

Why I Hate My High School Life

Many reasons but they were all backed up by childhood lust and the rest of wants.

1. I was just always afraid of falling into any trouble of any teacher because they will so deal with the student some even till you graduate. Though I didn't experience such from any teacher.
2. There was this restrictions as when to go home infact you cannot just travel to see your parents only after two to three months in school and you will not spend much time with them.
3. The feeding state was a rush or miss affair it was normal in every boarding school so for a week you could be late to some meals and miss out the meals and no one will bring for you , you will have to hustle up and get it to the dinning hall as quickly as possible even to seat.
   These are some reasons I hated my school life back then in high school.

My College Life

This is actually the stage I am, I can' rely say i have experienced everything bout college life because I just started but the little experience I have I will share.

I am a student of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike , firstly I would want to acknowledge my brothers colleagues from my school its really not an easy task to be a Nigerian student and also a student of that school (my school).
I was admitted in school in the year 2019, they made it very mandatory for the freshers (newly admitted) to be in hostel, but those who really wanted to stay of campus would have to wait till the bypass form to come out before they will start their registrations which might come out very late so I had to do every thing on time , I paid acceptance fee and all the rest and after which we enrolled and got hostels, before one could get a hostel it was another war unlike secondary school (high school) where your parents does the needful for you and you just have to be there. That was the basic differences I marked between high school and college .

The way the lectures went and how we were compelled by those who seek political posts to attend classes as they made it look very hard for someone to even become reasonable in live if u fail to attend a class but I was already used to school life so it never bothered me that much , I only had to do the most needful and read my books to pass.
They say the higher you go the tougher it gets its actually the truth, as f my 200 level it looked very difficult though most of the courses we offered were familiar but the fact that the lecturers will make them look very difficult to under stand. So we go to night class sometimes we end up reading sometimes we end up flirting or cracking jokes, normally there is always a group of people that package their books for night class and end up not reading, sometimes you will have plans to read but due to friends .
During exams I usually do the till day break, stressing myself and my eyes and in the day time if I don't have papers I will tag it sleeping day to prepare ahead for the night , in the the exam hall If u are lucky to be called with those who we see as the intelligent ones no one loses the opportunity because it might come that once and you will never grab it again till further notice so no matter what you read just pray that God allows the OMR sheets to be among those to be called wit h the hypers😂😉.

The school life I prefer

With all the experiences so far, I do really love my secondary school life, and would still want to be with those my classmates , I love the memories and enjoyed every act because I literary was not that bad i made sure I was doing good and obeyed the school rules to an extent but we are all men we fall short and offend in one way or the other.

Now coming to my college life I am enjoying it too, infact I it is the life time we all need to use and explore and also bargain our fate .

For me I prefer my college life to my high school life, reasons so numerous.

Why Do I Prefer My College Life.

For the fact that every one wants growth and never wants to back to the past that is a more reason to prefer my college life to that of the high school life my reasons are as follows.

1. I got to explore more and discover my self in the campus hostels and off the campus.
2. Many decisions that where just not there for you to make as a high school students turned out to be daily options as a college student.
3. Real life lessons are learnt and how to deal with different kind of people from different part of the country and world and so many of them which Will cost time to list.
4. You can have access to many things such like electronics which makes so many work easier unlike high school where you have so many restrictions in using your phones, electric irons, laptops and all that.

What I hate About my College Life

Like I said earlier you get to experience the real world in the college I want to out list some those things I don't like about my college life.

1. The stress as an undergraduate in a Nigerian University is very much bigger than that of a high a school student though you can actually decide not to attend any lectures and sleep all day but the fact still remains that everything you need to do still waits for you.
2. The pressures that are mounted by most course representatives, sometimes to gain from them or even to save them selves from blame from the lecturers.
3. The fact that I have been in 200 level since I got admitted into college is a big more reason to hate my school life because the time one is meant to graduate keeps extending and making things difficult for those who are staying off campus.
4. Poor medical attention in College, It may sound funny but in my school we have lost students due to poor medical attention , unlike my high school where the school principal takes it upon her self to make sure every medical issue is addressed.
   For now I will pause here, my ink is about finishing 😉😂.

Conclusion

In all I must say I enjoyed my high school life more but the enjoyment was after I had already left and I get to remember those things we passed through but back then I never did enjoy any of those sufferings Sometimes I could be getting with my classmates and we will be like we wished to go back to that moment but in all u can't reverse time it keeps moving and waits for no man no matter how much you pay for it.
