What is Campus Life?
Campus life is simply how you role as a student on campus. So the focus here is ;
Can you live a campus life without friends??
I've asked so many persons about the possibilities of attaining a whole year in the University without making even a single friend and the answer by many is it's impossible, unless you can prove me wrong.
It is popularly said that no matter who you might be, nobody is an island.
Jane is a zealous young lady, well brought up by her parents. She's always been on top positions from when she started schooling in the nursery school, till she passed her advance levels.
Getting in the University to study journalism and mass communication, she made a promise to herself of continuing her old-school habits of not making friends.
While in primary and secondary school, being a shy lady and pretty much an introvert, it was quite easy for her because her daily routine was;
Get dropped at school, sit in class and learn when the teacher is present, in her spare time, read a novel to ease her mind and when it's time to go home, her driver picks her. Never did she take a walk home with anyone. The guys of her class feared her for she ignored all their advances at her and even reported to the discipline master if proven stubborn.
Little did she know that the University was a different level.
Her first two days was like the old days for everyone was new and making the first move was only for the most sociable.
But two weeks after, being in an interactive program of journalism, you can't work on your own. As required by the syllabus, students are to be grouped in groups of 3s, so as to establish a group presentation.
To Jane she didn't need anyone to do any presentation with her, for she was capable of handling things her self. But that was not the case. Jane's group was made up of herself, Jacy and Judith. Together they worked on their project. Jane showed some brain skills by dishing some great ideas, Jacy was an expert in computer technology and Judith was an excellent talker with a brilliant accent. Together, they made a pretty awesome team.
On the day of the presentation, Jane's group was up. Jane started with an introduction but startled a little and felt like quiting due to stage fright. Immediately Jacy took over after noticing the situation but still had some lapses then Judith continued and made it look so easy. Questions were bombarded at them at the end, but together they overcame.
Weeks later the 3 became good friends, they taught each other what they knew, together they brought out the best in them. Joy and laughter could be spotted whenever they were together.
They all had similar goals and had one greatest wish which was that, no matter the circumstances, they would never grow apart. The later gained a title in the department of journalism and mass communication. They were called The Big 3J's of Journalism.
From there others joined their group and that was how the bond became stronger for they didn't faulter.
Since then, I became a changed person and I believed in the power of friendship. Jane told her grandkids. For she was 85.
So what's your opinion, can you live a campus life without friends?
I call on @metugejacy20 to share with us her thoughts.
Frankly speaking, it's not possible o. If humans were meant to survive on their on, then God would not have deemed it fit to create a "helper" for Adam that would in turn, multiply and fill the earth with offsprings. Human beings can be likened to body parts, each very important as they plays there respective role for the smooth running of the body system, on their own nothing works . Friendship is really important especially to harness the ups and downs of school life to our own advantage.
Thank you for sharing this experience with us @clarence25 🤗

It's not possible to be in campus without having a friend
It's very compulsory to make friends , not just friends, but friends you can benefit from .
They might not be of help to you but to your future kids

Nobody is an island as we all know, we all need someone we talk to and also listen. Life is a two way phase friends could make or Mir you. I will only advice don't give yourself out to friendship, be wise as the serpent. If you find that Worthy friend keep them very close.
