My most frequently used social media application by @ebukah

Introduction

Hello steemians and welcome to this post, here I'll be talking about my most frequent social media application i use in my day to day life. Social media is important because it helps people to reach out to other people locally, nationally and even internationally.
Social media help portray your interest, your views and help show people who you are and being able to be yourself, unlike in the real world i was kind of the type that wasn't really exposed to social media, i was kind of antisocial because i wasn't exposed to certain application, i always felt restrictive and limiting to myself but it all changed when i was fully exposed to social media and i felt i have a greater sense of freedom of expression or of speech when using social media, and the social media can also be a place were you can be able to express your feelings and ideas and portray yourself how you would like in person and face-to-face with others.

ZOOM

During the COVID-19 pandemic, with millions of people being forced to stay at home to support and help stop the spread of COVID-19. The zoom application became so popular that it was used very often than usual because people around the world used zoom to work comfortably at home, zoom is kind of a go-to platform and this helped me set up a virtual video and audio conferencing, zoom really helped me in my education, this gave me access to increase educational resources and made my education flexible in the sense that i was able to take my classes anywhere i choose and it also helped my valuable global interchange and equal opportunities for students and teacher regardless of location, i kind of preferred it to being in class if you ask me.

WHATSAPP

Whatsapp is my number one messaging application which is why it is my most used application this bypasses phone carriers that charge users to send text. Whatsapp is fast, easy to use and i find it really comfortable when conversing with family and friends. Unlike phone carriers that charges users to send text over their network and can only send limited text and content, whatsapp is a multi-platform messaging application where you can share photos, video, document, being able to create a room, audio, share location and even contacts. This is very helpful and fun to use and with the group text features which allows you to send text to multiple recipients with just one click, now that's an app to call amazing.

TWITTER

Twitter is one of my favorite application because it encourages openness and accountability in communication and this has always been a brand and this increases brand awareness and a friendly platform. When i was in school i always struggled for ways on how to promote my research and my brand, but when i knew about twitter and it's benefits it was no longer a struggle for me, i could easily promote my research and brand and this enabled me to reach out to a large number of people quickly through tweets and retweets. Twitter gives accessibility to trending issues quickly, and can also be a means for users to discover and explore new stories, articles and news regarding today's biggest events.

Social media is important in our everyday life. Social media has become a necessity which can be used for educational purposes, social interaction and access to news and information.
