The steemit community encourages everyone to be creative in their posts by guiding us through the system which helps us know the function optimally .These guidelines help to safeguard the interest of individuals and the community as a whole.

Steemit is a platform that rewards users for posting original content. This is called the “The proof of brain concept”. It means that users have to come up with original contents to post on the platform.The contents may be images, videos, quotes, gifs and so on. Contents that are not original are to be cited in order to avoid being accused of plagiarism.

WHAT IS PLAGIARISM
Many of us have come across this word witthout really knowing the meaning of the word.
Plagiarism is simply copying someone's work without credit/citation, it is the representation of another author's language, thoughts, ideas, or expressions as one's own original work
