My Entry: Campus Connect Weekly Contest - Week 12 || 24 hours as a Vice-Chancellor of your University | by @jacksonmark1 | 10% payout to @campusconnectng

Hello everyone good evening from my end, I’m happy to be part of this contest here in this community and this is my entry for this contest organized by the campusconnectng as the Vice chancellor for 24 hours
I’m Mark, Jackson Nsini and I’m a student of the university of Uyo, Uyo in Akwa Ibom state of Nigeria 🇳🇬

I think It’s very impossible to achieve all the goals in just 24 hours as a vice chancellor because there are lots of things I think and would desire to achieve but I’ll outline some of it that’s most important which will be fast to accomplished

SECURITY: As we all know security as been a major concern/challenge to the universities here in Nigeria and for this case we experience some courses that affects the students e.g (Cult clash and insecure studying environment) which makes the students not feel comfortable and secure in the campus, as a vice chancellor I’ll sign into law an enforcement team that stands against this matters in campus

ELECTRICITY/POWER SUPPLY:This is another factor affecting the students in the campus, it really makes the study environment uncomfortable because the students needs electricity and better installation of appliances like Bulbs for lighting, Ceiling Fan/Air condition system for proper ventilation, Projectors for learning. As a Vice chancellor I’ll make this available for the students by making immediate orders to each of the lecture halls and faculty heads which will be in control of everything

LIBRARY: The library serves as a very important part of the university because most of the students are facing challenges of affording text books and for this case I’ll make it available to them by restocking the library with all the courses text book and bringing into campus an electronic library to help them make more research about their course of study

ALLOCATION OF RESOURCES:As a Vice chancellor I’ll make provisions for allocation of resources and making it fairly and also securing grants to the students and also Ensuring standard of the university academics are maintained and that academic freedom is protected as well
