You should be the first among equals and transcend the common frontiers of knowledge and learning.

It is imperative for a student scholar to be well-positioned for global relevance, because the best opportunities are global and only accessible to those who can operate in that level.

Students should diligently procure qualifications and grades that attract global reckoning. It is very essential to be conversant with and strive to meet the global standard of academic excellence.

Your goal should go beyond graduating with good grades, we must be ready to defend and apply the knowledge gained to global audience.

There should be aspiration and concrete effort to meet the requirements of world-class institutions for fellowship, scholarships and exchange programmes.

Prospective global scholars must be abreast of latest information and required qualifications for available opportunities of fellowship, scholarships, grants and other form of funding.

To be a global scholar you must be prepared for relevant international qualifying test. Requisite skills and competencies that could enhance your prospect and beef up your curriculum vitae should be acquired.

All carefree attitude, laziness, average-level performance mind-set, inferiority complex, self-pity and excuses should be avoided like plague.

The drive, vision and passion for global excellence must be developed and sustained, also a pragmatic approach much be adopted.

Researchers, proposals and project should be tailored to tackle national, continental and global challenges that are on the front burner of governments, international organizations and funding agencies.

These dissertations and report should be excellently prepared and manuscripts written and submitted to reputable international journals for global reach.

There is the need to be trained in the art of partnership and to spiritedly explore it alongside networking opportunities with distinguishing international scholars.

Finally, discouragement should not be allowed to set in over failed applications, there should be Persistence and also the place for divine assistance in our advancement, promotion and breakthrough should be realized.
