We sit and openly talk about how much the society expects from us but who is the society in question?
It may be a woman who despises you as you leave your home.
It may be a man who calls you cocotte just by looking at you.
The society may be that close companion who'd ask you to change you way of life because he or she doesn't approve of it.
The society is that ward, region or country that stops you from being your true self.
The society can be your kindred.
It's so terrifying that the society glares at you in the face everyday.
We are constantly put to judgement by people who haven't made it close to excellence. These people keep you caged with rules that they fall short to.
Recall, you were born into the society, but you weren't held leverage to it. It didn't change anything about who you are, why submit to it now?
You are pondering , what if I candidly put on lengthy skirts so this woman stops glaring? Or this man stops calling me names?
You're gradually forced to act like who you're not and live like that for the rest of your life. Some parents don't have control over their children, therefore they go in search for other children to prey on.
The society will seek out every means to bend you to their will but you are the author of your own life.
Noticed that people who find it pleasing to call you out for being who you are, have never actually succeeded in life?? They are mostly people who have no dreams, no ambitions looking for people to pour frustration upon.
The same society grumble when you go out a lot and still grumble when you stay indoors.The society doesn't really know what they want from you, they just want to ruin you.

When you live your life they way you deem it fit and become successful the society becomes wrapped in your fingers and obey you.
You're eventually going to die alone so live your life to your taste. What are you afraid of??
Society want to grab hold of what you have, they are dejected people who wish they could be as genuine as you are. Just remember to lay your rules and abide by them.
