The strike has done nothing good but harm to the student community at large nationally. First all, it has prolonged students stay in school longer than expected, wasting students resources and time. Most students just renewed their rent before the strike started which means they paid for a house that is not in use. It has affected most students plan of what to do after school.
In my observation, this strike will not be called off any time soon. Reason being that, the two parties (assu and FG ) have not started negotiations after assu declared the two month strike. Also, FG is not ready and cannot be able to meet assu numerous demands.

In order to bring conclusion to this strike, FG should do everything within their power to end this strike considering the fact that the students future is in jeopardy. Let them settle the demands of assu if not all, one-third. I'm sure the demands of assu are necessary to better the educational sector in the country. Assu should also consider accepting what FG has to offer while trying to bring this strike to an end. They should not expect FG to meet all their demands at once. Even they (assu) are not meeting up to standards in offering their duties to students. Let them be considerate for once and bring this strike to an end!
