The benefits of reading cannot be overemphasized. This has been a culture the Nigerians society has been trying to pass on to the younger generation.

Actually many people can spend time doing something else but not with books. Infact their books has turned to sleeping pills. Funny right?.
I could recall visiting a Roman Catholic Library during my secondary school days, though I can't remember the name of the book, but there was something that stuck with me from that day. In the course of reading the book, I came across a sentence which says and I quote, "if you want to hide something from a black man, put it in a book". That moment, I felt I've found the secret of the whites, Reading!.

Books holds information that you may not find on the internet. Books are essential for anyone that really wants to make it. Reading keeps you ahead of others, it increases your IQ, it increases knowledge and provides wisdom. Reading makes you intelligent.

I've never believed that anyone was born a dullard, I don't even believe that one is a dullard. To me the difference between the "intelligent" and the "dullard" is reading, that's the difference.

I know most of us may have hard time reading, you can start reading and go for break at time intervals. You may be asking what kind of books do I read, you can read anything that interests you, maybe music, history, art, don't be a jack of all trades and master of none. So you can pick from what interest you.

Why not we start today and indulge into habitual reading?. You can get to a store nearest to you and pick up a book or a library and read. Infact for you to be a very good writer, reading is indispensable. If you decide to follow the trend of reading one book every week, you'll read 52 books in a year and I bet you, you'll see a change about many things about you because secrets are hidden in books!. Isn't it amazing?.

If you want me to recommend a book, would you mind starting with " The 7 habits of highly effective people
