Hello everyone in this lovely Community 😊😊😊. I will love to wish everyone here a happy, blissful new year and success as we sail on this boat called 2022. Without hesitation I'll go straight up to the business of the day. Looking at the topic I used for this post, most persons may be in a state of wonderπŸ€” , why will i want to talk about an Environmental menace as if it was helpful to the society or the campus. But I'll simply state my purpose for this... Aim: The aim for This topic is simply to take you on a mind travel to the effects of campus Cultism which has bee set aside or Cross-carpeted to Fraud a.k.a Yahoo and Gee.

Alright let's dissect or do justice to this topic.

What is Cultism?

The origin of cultism was traced to the Seadog confraternity (a.k.a Pyrates), founded by Wole Soyinka and six others at the foremost University of Ibadan in 1952. The peaceful, and non-violent confraternity set up then, in the 1980s, metamorphosed into a secret cult whose activities have been characterized by some bizarre and violent activities. It was against this background that this paper x-rayed the possible causes and consequences of cultism in Nigerian tertiary institutions. The major causes of cultism in tertiary institutions were influence of peer group; parental background; societal decadence; erosion of education standards; militarization of the Nigerian polity; lack of recreational facilities; quest for power and protection among others. However, some of the effects of cultism include loss of lives and properties, disruption of academic activities on campuses, unsafe university environments. It was therefore recommended that all the stakeholders in the university education system should fuse efforts to combat the menace. It was also recommended that government should be more aggressive in her quest to eradicate cultism in the universities.

Originally Cultism was a secret society which fought for human rights but due to wrong parturition, we now have it the other way round, the people who once fought for human rights now deprived humans of their rights.
Schools like The University of Ibadan, University of Nigeria, University Of Port Harcourt, Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Abia State University, Ambrose Ali University, Niger Delta University, Delta State University etc for the past years has always been dreaded for it's cult activities, there was even a story of my friend who had to leave school at his third year due to people threatening to kill him if he doesn't join their cofretanity. Till now he couldn't gain admission again. But today there is a reduction in these activities.
To me Cultism or Campus Cultism has gotten an upgrade which doesn't involve robbery anymore, you don't need to be beaten all in the name of blending and you don't need to intimidate or "rask", inferiors ( "48s") as it is called or have rivary clashes anymore...
The Introduction of Yahoo and Gee is the new upgraded, advanced Cultism in school. No body begs you or beats you to join, you decide to by yourself, then you start sacrifices of blood just to get money. Will you say due to the reduction in the normal campus cult activities things are getting back to normal?
The answer is No.
Deaths toil and torment or campuses just for the quest of money. The devil is very wise he noticed people are scared of cofartanities the way it was and now he has induced another way to kill people and initiate people. Someone said atleast Yahoo is better than Cultism πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.
Do you think the same way?
Or are they the same game but played in another format?....

Drop your thoughts on this let's rub minds

Thanks @noskiart

Awesome

This is really educational but cultism and yahoo is same causes yahoo didn't reduce crime rate rather it increased kidnapping, Scamming and murdering. To me the both
are evil and occultic in nature. I
Would advise everyone to avoid involving in any of them
