24 hours as a Vice Chancellor of your university

First of all I will say it's really a great privilege to be the vice Chancellor of the great university of Nigeria. Yes I'm a student of the university of Nigeria but if I am to be the vice Chancellor for 24 hours I think I will love to pour out my full agenda that have been bothering me.

Favouritism

The girls in this school are more favoured than the boys in terms of provision of accomodations, accessibility to water and internet, including electricity, while the boys are left to fed for themselves which I find it inappropriate. As the vice Chancellor I will make a policy that will stay even after my tenure as the vice Chancellor. Every student are equal and everybody deserves to be treated equally, irrespective of your gender or background. More hostels should be built for the boys including all the social amenities necessary for human development, yes they are humans too and they deserve to have equal rights and privilege given to the girls.

Payment system

I have heard many students complian of how they are tired of going to the bank to pay some certain fees, also getting to the bank to face the large cue of people at the bank. As the head I will create a solution to this problem, that is creating a payment system that will help reduce the student's stress of going to the bank to some certain bills like, school fees, departmental/faculty dues and all other fees. A payment system in which a student can pay for his or her fees using just her mobile phone and registration number . My goal is to create a stress-free environment for the students, so that student could focus their energy to other things especially their academics.

Security

Increase of crime is just big problem I can observe student are facing, with the increase of rape cases and arm robbery,which attention should be focused on increasing the security personnels, and placing them at different entries of the school environment while some at some department buildings and check points.
Also provision of street light at different joints that needs clear night vision to stop arm robbers from operating.

Provision of available lands for investors interested in building big facilities that will be of good benefits to the school.

Normally as the vice Chancellor for just 24 hours I will try as much as possible to attract inventors to build facilities that will benefit the school and them also. Facilities like banks for management of student's money, Big malls , restaurants for eating and even building of different hostels for more accommodation for both male and female students. They are many empty lands for these projects and I'm sure they willing inventors will to invest in this great opportunity I will offer them.

Improvement of health facilities within the school environment.

Improvement if the healthcare facilities and provision of health care workers won't be a bad thing to do, I mean most times one or two students fall sick 😷 even emergencies might occur . It will really bring smile to my face to know that my healthcare facilities are up to standard so I will use my power as the vice Chancellor to improve it. Also provision big first aid boxes to every single unit in school .

Conclusion.

I think I ve utilized my power well executing these agendas and puting smiles on the faces of the student. A conducive and stress free environment for learning I think will increase students willingness to learn. Thank you.
