A prose titled “What is more natural than love?”

Like every other word or feeling love has a counter. Sometimes, it's counter eats us up to the point where we despise or reject love, the very essence of livelihood.

The gush of wind that makes a leaf fall,
That spew of word that makes your soul goes numb.
And there you remain, secluding yourself, battered, hurt.
Sometimes you wish you can just block the sunlight and be, be yourself, by yourself because if you don't, it's just a matter of time before you get fumbled again. So you cloak yourself with this facade “I'm not good enough”.
You embrace the night because you're frightened of the reality, the day sets in.
You deny yourself happiness and love because you think you don't deserve to have either, so you make up fantasies about a love you think you deserve but Everytime you turn around you see;
That girl across the street you can call yours,
That woman in the store you can call mum,
That infant she suckle you can call child,
That person who smiles back you can call... friend.
And it saddens you not because you can't have any but because you've been forced into a world where realities and wants are often at coin flips and you hurt. Slowly getting the life drain right out of you and the tragic part is the addiction and crave for sadness. You've been so used to the darkness it brings you comfort, you're addicted. You hate only because you're not loved, you cry because you unhappy, you fight because you're angered and you reject because you've been discarded.
A Devil's advocate and a sadist, you become without even trying to. The darkness slowly becoming your dwelling and the shadows your friend, negativity your intuition and death your endgame thus the cycle of your life.

But you forget, love is God and contrariwise. Embedded in each persons the proficiency to love and be love. So get off your high horse, buckle that fragile ego and go do you. Take that risk.
Tell that girl across the street you want her,
Tell that woman in the store she reminds you of mum,
Go have an infant of your own and call him child,
Call that person who smiles back a friend.
Love that person dearly for love has no govern and no one tells you how to love. If in the process of loving you are rejected, take a deep breath, relax and give it another shot because love is uncanny and wild.
Therefore I beg the question, what is more natural than love???.
