Married at school, single at home...

Is a content that dwells on the subject of relationship, it is enlightening and at the same time entertaining. Happy reading.....

Relationship is one huge factor that has the potential to rob or aid a student's Academic Success and Excellence ....

Having a sound Orientation on this subject (RELATIONSHIP) is important, as it becomes a foundation that builds up our personality. Every activity, behaviour and situations revolves around relationship, making it an important aspect of life that should be given adapt attention.
Either casually, professionally or emotionally.....we relate with people. In this article, I will focus briefly on a type of relationship which is very common and usually exists between the opposite sex(INTIMATE RELATIONSHIP).

Below is a story you will find interesting as it elucidates more on this topic...

MARRIED AT SCHOOL, SINGLE AT HOME.

Cindy got admitted into the university and opted to live in a lodge off campus. She hadn't yet settled down when she accepted a relationship proposal. As luck would have it, she had a bitter argument with her roomates and angrily left to search for new accomodations. Her boyfriend differed to take her in till she finds a new place.
The rest is a history. Since two years, Cindy is still living in her boyfriend's house performing wifely duties She washes, cleans and cooks She works extra mile to look charming for him. She's had abortions for him and went ahead to do family planning. Her family is oblivious to this and still thinks she's single and searching.
This is a popular scenario in our universities today. Many students co-habit as couples with the excuse that they are learning how to live together with their spouse ahead of time not remembering that they came to study. And at home, they switch with single students who are ready with any relationship that'll lead to marriage. These students most times keep carrying over courses till they graduate because the desire to read and pass has been replaced with the desire to satisfy their partner. They go at any length to keep them even if it means skipping classes so that they could attend with them. Their partner cajoles them to go. They become so attached to one person that they neglect the importance of friendship. They give all their energy to the relationship such that they world comes crashing down whenever there's a break-up.
The most painful part is that their parents has no knowledge of the couple role they play in school.
These set of people when they graduate become a big disappointment to the society. They can't defend the result they came out with because they sorted their way out.
They come to realize that they hadn't many true friends because they spent the years they should have built a large network on intimacy with one person.
Those whose heart were broken believes that true love doesn't exist and all men and women are the same depriving themselves the job of finding true love and settling down.
Some not so lucky get lost in the quagmire as they either lose their lives or sanity.

Conclusion.

Undergraduates should know that their studying years should be spent on building formidable network. Your network in school determines your net worth when you graduate. A relationship formed from true friendship remains the best after all.
