In life the child of an average man does not always get what they want or desire, while growing up as a kid I have always had that dream of studying engineering in Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, it is a public university in Ghana and is famous for been one of the largest varsities in kumasi, I already pictured how life will be over there as three of my friends as well intend to apply there as well. One needs to be financially buoyant before they can actually send a child to study in another country whether local or foreign, so when it was time and finance was not available I was forced to apply for my current university.

Currently I am a student of Agricultural and Bioresources Engineering in Michael Okpara University Of Agriculture, supposed to be in my third year but ASUU and the government put everything on hold, bit by bit I am making my dreams of becoming an engineer come to pass though not in the school of my dreams but an engineer is an engineer notwithstanding.

Things I Love About Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

Every institution has that distinct feature which only it has and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology is one of it. Below are few reasons I love this institution.

  • Learning facilities: The school is famous for having provided enough class rooms for the students, practical labs to experiment theories and ensures the students are well loaded with the knowledge they need to face the outside world and task that awaits them as engineers.

  • The opportunity it offers to student from other countries to learn how to speak any of the top 5 languages spoken in Ghana.

Schooling here In Nigeria I will say was never my dream but I was left with no other choice, ASUU and federal government have given me more reasons to believe that schooling in Nigeria means been delayed and the famous saying of "School na scam turns out to be true. God willing if everything goes as planned I believe I can pursue a program in this dream university of mine.

conclusion.

In a nutshell, every individual has that university they dream of in which many were opportuned to attend, while many others were left with no choice than to pick an alternative.
