The Diary Game | Thursday, 17th February, 2022

I woke up to a plate of food bought by my brother for me. Sat up and the first thing I did was to eat😁

I didn't want to work from home today so I had made up my mind to leave the house by 10am and head to work. I left for the busstop by 10am but failed to get a cab that would take me to the office. Tried to take bolt and the price showing was almost twice the usual due to increased demand occasioned by the scarcity of fuel which is still on. For context, the price displayed was 3000 Naira and below is a screenshot of the normal price which I just checked

11:00am
I went back into the house and started to work from there. Today's work was quite tasking and drained a lot of brain power. I was tired within 2 hours but had no choice but to keep going as I have a weekly deadline to meet which must be completed tomorrow.

The work dragged on till about 3:30pm when I decided it was time to get something to eat as I was feeling exhausted already.

3:55pm

Had noodles with a can of malt, rested a bit and continued with with the work I had to do. The second phase dragged on till about 6pm. The current state of the weather warranted me to go shower around then because I was already sweating profusely as there was no power supply.

7:30pm
My brother called me to come over to a nearby bar so that we can make a decision on what to have for dinner before going back home.

8:40pm
I just discovered I lost 2000 Naira in cash... This sapa period 😣 and it just around the time the coins I hold are in a dip

We move...
Dinner time and I chose Amala, because why not? 🌚

I am headed home and will be sleeping right after. Having high hopes that the fuel scarcity situation will be watered down by tomorrow and I can finally start living my usual life by weekend😪
