Good morning people, hope you are well.
My favorite spot in campus was the room I used to sleep in my third and fourth year. I used to sleep in a storeyed hall which had humogous windows. I am the kind of person that loves rooms with a lot of light and with big windows and enough fresh air. We used to sleep three people in a room and the room was spacious enough to accomodate us.
My favorite spot as you can guess was by this humogous window as it was only one. This window first of all brought in fresh air and the view from there was so breathtaking. Part of the view was the campus surroundings and then the other overlooked Kampala city as you got to see Namirembe hill with the church standing in its majesty. The view was beautiful during day however at night it was something else.
At night you got to see the lights shining over the old kampala and Namirembe hill. Truthfully, I used to spend a lot of time in that window. Much as I don’t want to admit it I used to stare at people and their outfits when I was idle. I would also know if I was late by seeing my classmates walk to class or even my lecturers as I lived near where I studied. It is one place I loved my friends visiting as we would sit by the window and chat while enjoying the beautiful view.
Much as I loved my room, the window was looked near a tree and sometimes weird insects would come in. I fear any insect that flies especially if it is new to me and that window really exposed us to new insects. Haha we used to jump and make a huge fuss but truth I was genuinely scared and when I was alone in the room I would ran out and go look for help to kill or chase away the insect.
This was my favorite spot on campus.
Thank you for reading.❤️❤️
