My most frequently used social media Application by @tripplem

INTRODUCTION

Hello everyone, though I missed last contest but immediately I noticed this contest, I said to myself I will definitely not miss this one, lol, and here I am to fulfill my promise to myself. I must commend @pricelesspresh for this contest.

So In this contest I will be talking about my favorite two social media that I have been using frequently.

My two favorite social media are:

WHATSAPP and STEEMIT

BELOW ARE DETAILS ABOUT THEM AND THE REASONS WHY I CHOSE THEM

WHATSAPP is a centralized app that is recently owned by Facebook.inc that can be used for messaging, voice notes sending, video calling, audio calling of your friends, family, colleagues, clients etc.
It comes in different types like normal WhatsApp , Gbwhatsapp, WhatsApp business (these are the ones I am aware of and have used)

Each of these type has their distinctive features, eg
With Gb WhatsApp, one can;

• View status and messages that had been deleted by the sender,

• One has unlimited aces to different fonts and themes
• One can easily save your status to their gallery without downloading another app for that.

• One can set his privacy and chat to any settings. Ranging from time of delivery to when to indicate delivery etc….. infact Gbwhatsapp was my best when I was using an android phone…. Too bad it’s not enabled in apple phones.

With WhatsApp business, one can;

• Create catalogs for advertisement of his/her business.

• Set a greeting message , an away message or a quick response.
(That is why when you chat some people ip for the first times, you receive an auto message. Those people are using WhatsApp business)

• Upload details about your business and save it in your profile for easy Acess

• Easily link their WhatsApp business to other social media for advertising.

One demerit about WhatsApp business is that it does not save status, you need to download a status saver for it

As for the normal WhatsApp messenger, I was never a fan of it. So I didn’t use it. Meaning that I may not know it’s features. Like I said earlier, while I was using an android phone, I used GBwhatsapp, and now I’m using an apple phone I am socializing with WhatsappBusiness.

Why I Choose whatsapp

I chose WhatsApp be at of several innumerable reasons, but I will mention just few that I can wrap my head on.

I chose WhatsApp because it links me directly to my clients. It’s easier to connect me with my clients as long as they have my WhatsApp enabled phone number, they just send me a chat and we continue our business from there.

Also I have some of my works in my catalog where I refer my clients to for samples incase they need any and I can easily share the catalog link to anyone or any other social media and direct people straight to my whatsapp

Furthermore I chose WhatsApp because aside business, I communicate with my friends through it. I make audio and video calls to my friends both in Nigeria and any other country through it. I belong to several groups on WhatsApp also where information are passed and knowledge gleaned.

I chose WhatsApp because aside business and family, it is fun and easily accessible, it does not have much gbas gbos …. Any one can navigate WhatsApp with little or no guidance.

Let me stop here because if I keep on going, I will exhaust my write count all in explain to what I chose WhatsApp.

STEEMIT on the other hand is a Decentralized social media website where users blog and get their rewards in the steem cryptoacurrency. It was launched in 2016 and is owned by steemit.inc.
Unlike WhatsApp, steemit is a decentralized social media website, where you can still catch up with friends and clients, blog about anything and everything and get paid for them…..wooooooooaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!

So you mean I can do everything I do on WhatsApp in steemit but get paid for them? Oh yes!!!!!

Now steemit is one of those Social media that fetches money that most people are not aware of yet, even me I got to know about steemit ok the 31st of July 2021 through my friend @ladyofpolicy. Immediately she told me about it I quickly joined. Here is my introductory post to confirm my claims, and I can honestly tell you that since I joined steemit I only shuffle through WhatsApp and steemit every day.

The importance of steemit cannot be overemphasized.I have lots of reasons why I use steemit, but I will mention few also

• Firstly, I like using steemit because of the blog part. One of my new year resolutions was that I wanted to improve in my writing and ability to think outside the box and make creative contents. So when i noticed steemit had the platform for that, my love and commitment for it grew beyond leaps and bonds…. Imagine I can even write more than 300 words without shaking and still make sense till the end

• I like using steemit because it stretches me beyond my comfort zone. Imagine participating in a contest, racking my brain to type something worthy of reading for a contest, etc

• I decided to dwell in steemit because of the love and relationship it’s users share amongst themselves, steemit has become family to me, I have Made new reasonable friends (I don’t want to mention names so that I won’t mistakingly omit someone’s name can cause trouble for myself). And they have made my stay in steemit a lot fun for me.

• I planted my feet firmly in steemit because it rewards me for my commitment. Oh yes!!! I will not omit this one. Steemit rewards it’s bloggers with steem cryptocurrency which is acceptable and trade-able in the cryptocurrency market.

• I added steemit to my social media choice because I can also advertise my procuct here, make sales and receive steem as a means of payment. Meaning I now accept steem as a means of payment from my clients that are into steemit already.
