Aston Martin returns to Formula 1 and today presented its AMR21 for the 2021 season, it has had its two drivers, Sebastian Vettel, four times world champion and the young Lance Stroll.
The car wears the British green of the 4 and 5 DRB1959 and DRB1960, metallic green with a small, thin strip of pink on the front wing and another on the sides.
The new AMR21, powered by a turbocharged Mercedes-AMG F1 M12 E Performance engine with hybrid energy recovery, will roll for the first time at Silverstone on March 4, ahead of the Bahrain test program, between March 12 and 14. March.
“It is a new beginning, it is a beginning of a new chapter for me and also for the team, so there are many things that we share. We are both very ambitious. It is a very ambitious project ”, commented Sebastian Vettel.
“I have dreamed of this day for a long time. I have always been a car fan and have also enjoyed racing. My first dream was to have a Formula One team and the second to acquire a significant stake in Aston Martin Lagonda, but today those two dreams merge, ”said Lawrence Stroll.
