Sancho could be used there against teams that will sit deep and defend for their lives, with usual right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka being a little too defensively minded for those types of games, according to reports.

Sancho is still optimistic about his chances at United, according to The Athletic, and no one at Old Trafford doubts him.

He admits that the speed of the English game has caught him off guard, but he is working hard, and his coaches have been impressed by his determination and eagerness to learn.

Sancho has made an impression with his willingness to beat defenders and his refusal to give up even when things aren't going his way, which is why this occasional position shift has been discussed.

I think he will be a great right back if he agrees to play that position. Because he is having the background in attacking, his movement forward will be a perfect one if he plays in that position.
