Qualified finisher?

Shamim Patwari's name is quite well known in the current thinking in the finishing position of the Bangladesh team. He also made his debut a few months ago. After playing a few good matches as usual, the computer analyst of the opponent also pointed out his weaknesses. And after playing some bad matches in a row, he stayed with the team but lost his place in the XI.

After the recent Pakistan T20 series, the national team has not had a T20 assignment for a long time. The team's coaching staff is busy with the Test team so they can't work with Shamim on their behalf.

In the 2nd round match of the Independence Cup, Shamim had a good chance to finish with another future player Akbar Ali. Stay away from the competition towards the end of the match, only his weaknesses were visible as before. Where 61 runs from 35 balls would have been required, his team failed to score even 35 runs from 35 balls by facing the ball of Soumya-Sarkar and Mrityunjay.

Patwari once had 24 runs off 26 balls. From there, his innings ended with 29 off 39 balls. In other words, instead of competition, he played worse when needed. The question is, according to Riyadh, if he is a classic player, then why is being played in the lower order in Domestic cricket?

If he is still considered a finisher, then why has there been no work output with the local coach for the last month and a half on his own batting points? Why is Shamim suffering like before? While Shakib and Tamim go to their coaches when they get in trouble. There is a BPL T20 ahead and a T20 series with Afghanistan later. Where is the impact of Shamim Patwari's work with his batting weakness? Doesn't he have any responsibilities? When the opportunity arises in the national team, the rest of the work and accountability is only for the coaches and selectors?
