South African Louis Oosthuizen is still leading the British Open midway through the tournament, two shots ahead of Collin Morikawa and three over Jordan Spieth.
He won the British Open in 2010 (the only Major to his name) so the question is will Louis Oosthuizen succeed here again? The 38-year-old South African has only come halfway, but it's already a great achievement!
On the greens of Royal St. George's Golf Course, the leader at the end of the first day is still in the lead mid-tournament. Oosthuizen returned a 65 card on Friday, one more than the day before, including four birdies, and an eagle, and just one bogey.
This allows him to finish the second round two shots ahead of 2020 US PGA winner Collin Morikawa, who posted 64, six under par, with seven birdies and a single bogey.
Jordan Spieth, already winner of three Majors (including the British Open 2017) is three shots behind the leader, with a card of 67 in the second round, with five birdies and two bogeys.
We then find three golfers four shots behind (including world No. 1 Dustin Johnson) and five with five shots, which promises more suspense during the weekend.
