The fifa ballon d’or is simply an annual football association award presented to the world best men’s player of the year.
In its sixth edition, the fifa ballon d’or has been dominated by Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo hence it has remained a healthy rivalry between the two world class players.
The question remain the same among football fans and lover as who becomes the next ballon d’or winner after a very long era of Messi and Ronaldo who both are at the tail ends of their football career.
It’s to no surprise that prominent footballers with so much skills and performances have been tipped as best successors, among these players are namely;

His performance so far has been so outstanding since the beginning of the season and the most impressive one has been the champion’s league, it’s where he has built his legend so far this year.
With that competition returning this midweek, the stage is set for the PSG star to again take the continent by storm.

The Bayern star that has been their goal machine that has played 36 games and recorded 42 goals, 8 assist to his name in all club competition this season.
He also won the club world cup. It remains to be seen how Bayern can cope without him against PSG after he sustain an injury.
If they manage to qualify in the champions league to the next stage without him and he returns to the top of these ranking before he even kicks a ball again.
There is no element of doubt that his performance can’t get him ballon d’or , he stands tall among his contenders to claim the ultimate.
Erling Haalang
The hottest cake in the current transfer market as his performance has attracted big clubs (Chelsea, the Manchester clubs, real Madrid, Barcelona) to search for his signature.
The Dortmund star has played 33 games for club in all competition and score 33 goals, 9 assist in the 20/21 season.
Haaland has qualified with his team to the champion’s league quarter final, unfortunately they lost 2:1 to Manchester city but he provided an assist.
It will be an exciting game to watch in their 2nd leg.
