Ajax Amsterdam wrestles with Besiktas Istanbul. Sébastien Haller appeared and hit twice. He broke Haaland's record. Inter beat Donetsk.

The 27-year-old scored twice in the 2-1 win at Besiktas Istanbul and turned the game in favor of Ajax Amsterdam. Besiktas initially took the lead with a hand penalty.

With his eight and nine goals in the group stage, the Franco-German also broke the record set by Erling Haaland. He has scored a total of eight times in his first five Champions League games - back then for Red Bull Salzburg. Haller is now one goal ahead in his first five games.

Ajax, on the other hand, were the early group winners thanks to the win. The Netherlands also celebrated their fifth win in their fifth game.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan beat Shakhtar Donetsk 2-0 in a parallel match. Edin Dzeko scored two goals.

If Sheriff Tiraspol doesn't win against record Champions League winners Real Madrid in the night's game, Inter will advance to the last 16.
