No Depay, No Party For Barcelona

Barcelona have dropped points once again in their recent draw with Cadiz. If we're being honest, they could have easily lost the game if Cadiz weren't so wasteful in the second half.

Depay could have also won the game for Barca if he did what needed to be done. An easy chance was set 'on a plate' for him by Roberto but he flunked it.
After De Jong's red card, Barcelona had to sit back and defend the draw. The red card was very harsh because Frenkie actually went for the ball with his tackle. It is what it is.

Depay has been struggling in recent weeks and it's no coincidence that Barcelona have been made to pay.
Their lack of Attack options means that Depay might just be their 'savior' this season. If Depay performed well yesterday, Barcelona would have probably won the match.

This just goes to show that there is a certain dependence on Depay by Barcelona to get results. Who can blame them after losing Griezmann and Lionel Messi in one transfer window.
Barcelona's hope now lies on whether players like Aguero, Coutinho and Depay can get back to their best because the Barca defence is not too bad. Araújo is playing goo football, same with Roberto and Pique (most times 😂).
