The Diamond Dawgs defeated the Vanderbilt Commodores in dominant fashion in game three of the College World Series in a 9-0 affair. Will Bednar and Landon Sims combined for a one-hit shutout of the Commodores, who just couldn’t seem to anchor down its defensive troubles in games two and three of the championship series after winning game 1 by a score of 8-2.
