Lakers 1 game from elimination and I'm happy about that

LeBron James' attitude over the past two years has changed the way that I feel about the Lakers and I mean no offense to any Lakers fans out there, but when you have someone at the helm that whines and complains as much as King James does all while getting paid near $100 million a year, it kind of annoys me and many others.

I took great joy in watching James first complain about how the play-in system was a stupid idea and then have his team be in the play-ins and if the play-in system didn't exist the Lakers would have been in the playoffs automatically because of their number 7 ranking. This meant that poor LeBron was going to have to play a whole 1 more game in order to make the playoffs. James' disconnect with the fans is evident in his complaining about this system because it was never set up to make him or the other NBA players happy, it was set up to keep the fans happy and to discourage 7 and 8 seeds from "not trying" towards the end of the season when they know their position in the rankings is a lock.

Basically every basketball fan applauded this decision, even those that are fans of the 7th and 8th seeded teams. I don't know of anyone other than James and a few other whiney millionaires that complained about this. If your team truly deserves to be in the playoffs you really shouldn't have any trouble defeating the lower-ranked teams and if you do lose, well, you probably don't deserve to be in the playoffs now do you?

In the most recent game vs. the Phoenix Suns King James didn't even stick around until the end of the game. With more than 5 minutes remaining in the game that would result in a 30 point rout of the Lakers, James left the court and headed to the locker room. This kind of showcases the level of arrogance that this man has because lessor valued players probably wouldn't be allowed to do this by their coaches, but James must know that he is above "the law."

By all statistical analysis, the Suns should win this round anyway but the Lakers have shown that they are not going out without a fight when they actually went up 2 games to 1 at the start of the series. They kept it close in game 4 but game 5 showed Phoenix' dominance that got them to the number 2 spot in the first place.

This embarrassing loss in Phoenix puts the Lakers in danger of elimination on June 3rd and it might even end up taking place at home in Los Angeles.

I was kind of surprised to see that the Lakers are favored to win in game 6 despite the fact that Anthony Davis is almost certainly out due to injury, and Bron Bron has been dealing with an ankle injury for a little while now.

When he left the game, some sports' pundits were quick to call LeBron out on it with one of them stating

Here we go again. The Drama King leaves the bench with 5:40 left in this blowout and walks quickly up the tunnel to the locker room.

This is a terrible show of sportsmanship on James' part but I think the excuse made by Head Coach Frank Vogel was even worse. Vogel claimed that James needed to get started on treatment for his ankle right away and while I am not a sports injury specialist I don't think that those 5 minutes are really going to make or break his rehabilitation. It was a lame excuse and only makes me want the Lakers to get sent home even more so.

Does Phoenix have what it takes to eliminate the Lakers tomorrow? I know that I certainly hope so and while I don't want to piss off Lakers fans out there and I have nothing against any of you, James has brought this attention upon himself by being so outspoken about just about anything in the past 2 years. Personally, I would really enjoy seeing "The King" get served a nice slice of humble pie.

Lakers han perdido rendimiento con respecto al año pasado sus principales figuras con problemas

They are injury prone at the moment and LeBron seems to be like a fading star. I reckon he has a few years left in him at most but maybe he will take the naysayers like me to heart and pull off the impossible. Who knows?

Time will tell. He can be counted on for making mindless comments as well. When O.J. Simpson starts capping on you, you know that you've arrived in dangerous territory. LOL.

i was unaware of OJ's involvement in this. Gonna have to look that up haha

thanks for that. Not really sure if OJ is someone that should be commenting on anything related to crime but he's not wrong in this instance.

We are in agreement, Sir. However, you know you've hit an all-time low when even O.J. thinks that he has room to cap on you. LOL.

Soy de acuerdo.

Hey, man @sports.guy55! Nice article from you as usual. AD's injury tells it all. LeBron is not capable of carrying a team on his own at this point in his career. By the way, you still remember me? What's your discord man? or telegram? or how can I contact you? I have something to discuss with you if you have time. Thanks
