If you watch TV you will know there are many game shows and reality shows.  "Idols, Survivor, Alone, Who want's to be a millionaire", to name but a few.

• Today you are going to create your own game show or reality show.  You can use ones that are on TV and make a few changes to the rules, or you can invent your own.
• It can be a funny show or a serious show and you decide what the prize money (if any) will be and how the winner will be determined.
• You need to write out a plan for your show with the rules, who can participate, what is the objective of the show etc.
• Have a look at the example below and then start using your imagination and create your own.
• You can even make a video recording to show how the game is played or what is expected from the participants.
• Have fun - there is no right or wrong way to do this - let your creative juices flow.

Survivor with a twist

A team will be made up of 6 men, one car and 4 children for each of the fathers and they will have to stay on a paradise island for 6 weeks.

Each child will take part in two types of sport or must attend music or dance classes and there will be no 'fast food outlets' available.  (The men will have to prepare all the food for them and the children.)

Most of the time the men can do what they want, BUT they must make sure that all the kids get to their different activities on time and eat all their food.

Responsibilities

Each father must look after his children and create a home for them and keep it clean.  They must help the kids with all the school projects, wash and iron their clothes and make sure that they eat enough vegetables.

The father may only watch TV at night once all the kids are asleep.  There will be only one TV and one remote control in each house.

There will be NO immunity or reward challenges and for each task the fathers complete successfully they will receive four more.

Duties

The men must shave their legs and wear make up every day (which they must apply in the mornings while they drive the kids to school or are busy preparing breakfast.)

They must also make sure that all the kids are dressed and have brushed their teeth and are at school on time.

Children must get a breakfast every morning, some sandwiches for lunch and a healthy dinner at night.

The men must also attend any school meetings and if a child gets sick they have to attend to them, even if it is at three in the mornings.

They must build a little hut which the kids can take to school as a project - they will only be given toothpicks, permanent markers and 'pita' bread.

There will be four year old kids which the fathers will have to convince to eat some spinach.

The children will have the final say after each week which father will go home - the rest that stays behind will share his responsibilities among them.

After 6 weeks, the winner can then go back to his own job.
