@zyx066, ummmm, well, uhhh, in a kind of remote way, I guess you could say that "Hitler was a socialist" although, to be really honest about it, he carried it a bit far, like Lenin, Stalin and Chairman Mao. The reason I mention the other superguys is that at one point, they all read a book from a not very popular Author, Karl Marx. In this one book, he wrote something very familiar, "that the whole should take care of all it;s parts, and that all the parts MUST serve the whole". This was also the beginning of a explanation in "Blackstone's Principallia of Law". Most of Karl Marx's writings was about everyone owning everything, and that there could be NO mega-wealthy. It kinda made sense, but the people who wrote the news, even back then, saw their wealth going away and began calling Marx a "Marxist/Communist" as he believed that the wealth should be held by the "Community". interesting thought, and unfortunately, misinterpreted.
If you ever get the chance, check out some of his writings. Also, my hero, Eugene V. Debs (American Socialist Party) who also ran for President 5 times on the American Socialist platform. Mitch, out

As always, thanks so much for the response, and as always, sorry for my late reaction @mitch94541... I have to disagree though with the whole "Hitler was a socialist" of some sorts; he wasn't, not even remotely. Before he started murdering any other groups, he first killed all the socialists and communists; he hated them even more than he hated the Jews. Also, he presided over the kind of crony capitalism we now call "socialism for the rich".. So, no, not every authoritarian is automatically a socialist or communist, not even Stalin or Mao.
