Good afternoon Steemians. I am honoured for the opportunity given to us by @oppongk to take part in this great contest to share with you the survey I conducted in the local market about farm produce and their prices.

In Ghana, prices of food stuff varies from seasons to seasons. Mostly during harvesting time where a lot of food are in abundance, food stuff prices are relatively low. In a season where a lot of crops are produced in large quantities , farmers does not gain a lot from what they produce likewise market women who sells these items don't earn enough from it. Food stuff becomes scarce for a period of time after harvesting and in this case , the price of food increases exponentially and it is not all the time food stuff are in abundance during harvesting period.
