Significance of Boron:
Boron plays an important role in the division of plant cells. Nickel helps in effective displacement of calcium from one place to another. Plays an important role in protein synthesis. Carbohydrate Metabolism These are two separate terms Carbohydrates Carbohydrates are organic compounds of oxygen and hydrogen. Metabolism maintains the chemical reactions that take place in plant cells It plays an important role in both. The use of boron pollen which is found in the form of powder kicks on the flowers of plants which completes the process of pollination in plants. Boron plays an important role in the setting and formation of flowers and fruits. Boron is called Immobile Nutrition in terms of movement in plants, so its deficiency will come in the newly emerging branches whenever it comes in the plants.
Uses:
When you test the ground, test the amount of boron. If in your land 0.0-0.5ppm Use up to 0.908 grams of boron per acre. If the amount of rain 0.5-1.0ppm If so, use 454 grams per acre of boron. And if the amount is stated above 1.0ppm, do not use boron at all. Note: Remember that only a balanced diet can make you a successful farmer.
The following are some of the crops that need to be taken very seriously while applying boron. Too much can damage such crops.
- Cotton
- Jo
- Oats or oats (fodder)
- First crop
- Soybeans
- Lucerne (fodder)
- Jowar (fodder)
- Nut-bearing fruit trees (such as walnuts, almonds, etc.)
- Fruit plants
- Tarshavah Fruit Plants (Lemon, Malta, Sour etc.)
- Nutty fruit plants (peaches, apricots, berries, etc.)
- Root crops (potato, sugarcane, carrot, turnip, radish etc. and all other vegetables)
Availablilty of Boron:
In soils with high pH, the availability of boron is low for plants. Lands where lime is abundant then availability of boron is less. Where nitrogen, calcium and potash are high, the availability of boron is reduced to plants. In sandy soils, boron flows easily into the lower layer of the soil, due to which boron is less available to plants. Soil with less organic matter is also less available for boron plants. In severe cold and humid weather, boron plants are not available. Especially when it is freezing cold.
